Neither do I.
I think the problem is too that men seem to only want dime-pieces anyway. It's as if they forget and think that being rejected, and lonely, and made to feel like shit is strictly a man's domain. It happens plenty to women I'm sure too, but you don't see us take it out on innocent men walking down the street.
Spotify is great, it has a very good selection. The one I've been missing the most so far is Silver Jews, who are amazing. With the premium version you don't get ads (which are annoying as ****, although Sarah is using it with ads), and you get to save songs offline on a smartphone, which is insanely useful. I only listen on Spotify now, hardly ever listen to my Mp3s.

There's so many problem with the way men are brought up it's hard to think of where to start. One aspect is that men are lauded for their struggle to break down a woman's rejection. Media teaches us again and again that you just need to be persistent, and a no is really just an "ask me again in a minute". Additionally there is a sick romanticization of unrequited love. But fundamentally I think that many men, and particularly young men, struggle to view women as full, self-determined people. To them women are really the NPCs in a story where they are the protagonists.

Don't worry, Disney is changing that with having all their lead female protagonist being independent ass-kickers who really don't need men, but take them anyways cos what's the alternative, lesbianism.
It's a step in the right direction.
How do you feel about this as the father of both a girl and a boy?
