Whatever.

Our linguistic attention is less divided, that makes it so ours is almost completely unaffected by the accents of people we may associate with on a day to day basis for decades.

It also allows us to hone in and develop finer phonological points when learning a foreign language:

Really, on the contrary, your link seems to state that Autistic children's accents are "almost completely" affected by the one person they associate with most on a day to day basis, their mothers.

Only due to an infant's need to have an accent to begin with. The first and most prevalent accent around to replicate is that of your mother's.

Afterwards, we don't care.

I think your interpretations of this research (and pop science TV Shows) is somewhat incorrect.

BTW, do you speak a foreign language?

That's because I'm generalizing the effects of the disorder which vary quite drastically. Combining into a Mary Sue. That is the supermind, when culminated with the rigor of a polymath.

Here's food for thought, most savants result low in the standardized IQ test. I did not. Most savants have difficulty in a rounded curriculum, I do not. When you take outlandish skills, and make them omni-applicable, you get a supermind. Something generally thought impossible because of the detrimental health effects, but more to the point it's that, physiologically, intelligence can only increase drastically in one area at a time - or else you'll get a rebound effect.

That's a good attitude to have. Also to double check information one attains on the Internet.

At any rate, linguistically there is no reason to call modern British English "the original" and other dialects of English, in particular US American English, "the other".

Neither British English nor American English stood still since they separated.

I'd say that was fair, in terms of neither being "correct". It's easy to get defensive over one's language, easy to point fingers at those you think are wrong, etc. Even though, personally, I still get confounded by certain elements of American English, the main thing being their dropping of the letter U from some words. For me, 'color' scans/reads as 'co-law', so I'd never drop the U because I find it essential to the pronunciation.

Perhaps I am,but Ive a well-rounded individual who takes a balanced course load and does careful, potentially dangerous work and pull enough to , I drive, I do a lot of things savants cant. There are always trade offs. The issue is limited reward, dopamine, "hedonic capitol". Ill be pusging the limits.

Go ahead, call me stupid, call me delusional, but you dont know some of the jumps ive made.

I think you're thinking of "Idiot Savant" not "Savant."

Daniel Tammet and Jake Barnett werenot idiot savants. Even with DaVinci, Einstein and Newton; they had more trade offs than. I believe thats the reason I dont seem to expressany particularly extreme mental ability.

But I do at times, I've created my own Decartes line tesy, that doesn't involve a line test. Eight years ago my English ability jumped three grade levels in three months. Ive recognized patterns in behavior thats brought me to succesful connclusions about people.

But not to the degree of Einstein. As I said, trade-offs. But if I can find a way to circumvent finite hedonic capitol, who knows.

The one thing I want most out of this experience, out of life, from the universe, is to hold someone I love in a non-platonic way tight in my arms and to make her feel safe.

That's exactly what I want...awww...goes into the next room and puts on wig and becomes charletta...
