I have what you call elemental talent.
A polymath has a well-rounded education, spends decades immersing himself in the semantics of literacy. The advantage of elemental knowledge, better referred to as intuitive talent, a propensity to perform adeptly in all areas related to the frontal cortex as well as through the nervous system (thinking faster, fighting faster), is these kinds of people have special abilities that are exclusive to them and them alone. We don't have to spend very long sharpening memory, attention, and recall - instead we live in a perpetual mind-frame that takes what is useful for indulging the senses and we the rest. As elementals, we can't be bothered with written information, something someone else already knows. We tinker and often reproduce perhaps a less refined, more archaic method, but a method that suffices. We don't care for wisdom because wisdom is a delusion, we don't care for the status quo or new-age bullshit. We don't say anything unless its direct. We don't care when we spout nonsense. We can handle anything, we can handle solitary, starvation, insomnia, in fact that's how regulars become more like us, they lose their minds. They go into the wilderness to find themselves, and they break away from the pack. Unphased by a lot of the issues others face, especially the stresses of modern society, people like me are considered dangerous.
