We were granted wisdom for a reason. There is a point where you REALLY cannot do anything. I care for all people, whether they are cruel to me or not. But there is always a drawing point. If it is hurting and effecting you, then you step back. If it's going to get you killed, step back. Always offer help, always be willing to help.. But keep your guard up, and know when to stop.
