Robin Williams had a tendency to go into cringe territory with his humor sometimes, Dustin Hoffman has a more subtle humor, played it with just enough sincerity to make the absurdist tone work, an amazing actor.

His best film was Patch Adams

Agree, just watched an actors studio compilation of speeches in movies and the one in Patch Adams was in it, he really knocked it out of the park.

While it's true that Robin stole every scene he was in I think what really made that movie great was what the boys were going through.

Most of his movies are shit if you take him out of them.

The fact that every news show on every channel isn't screaming about this whipping up public hysteria and fear to get ratings is another factor that it's fake and G-y.

Oh there is something going on that's extremely unusual but aliens ain't it.

I'm a finite being with a faulty human brain trapped in a linear time stream, there's no way I'll ever figure out what's going on or who's behind it or anything.

I accept the fact that shit's going on in the background, I can't change that I can't control that or even effect it one iota.

But aliens... I disagree with but I won't try to convince anyone otherwise because I simply have no facts or evidence to back it up.
