I just cooked a steak and it ended up being medium well. ☹️ I hope I don’t make that mistake again

You mean medium rare?

Why not you like it bloody?

A good stake is cut really thin and you can add rum and hot spices. I'm a big fan of parsley or oregano.

I got distracted and cooked it too long.

Well it depends what u used to cook it on? Is it dried out?

Just add a wet side to it to bring it to life, some type of wet sauce or sour cream w a dash of salt

If you eat it with potatoes and broccoli it will liven up the dish

Dont swallow it whole, I knew a girl who choked like that.

Burned steak and brown sauce, yummy.

Brown sauce? Gross

Gravy?

The yanks have a sauce called A1. It's more like a shit version of Daddies sauce than HP.

A1 sauce is the best way to ruin a good steak. A1 sucks.

Agreed, now Dijon mustard on the other hand with a blue steak... is my go to.

Honestly, when it comes to most steaks, I think just a dash of a quality salt and pepper will do. There are exceptions of course.

I do love a skirt steak rubbed with chili powder, salt, pepper and then fresh lime squeezed while it's cooking on the grill. Makes for great taco meat too.

Good chimichurri is great on red meat too.

I do agree, the French tenderise steak beautifully, with Dauphinoise potato and green beans, that kind of steak needs nothing but seasoning.

You can keep the Dauphinoise, I'll take the French steak with pomme frites instead 🙂

Reminds me, one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life was this little French restaurant, owned and operated by two real Frenchies, in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it town called San Anselm, Ca. Sadly, it closed.
