Two weeks without switching on my laptop once, Steam, Epic, Chrome, Windows, Adobe update, system drops to a crawl.

AMD "experience" that ships out data and that I opted out of caused the fan to go full blast overnight.

And now Windows Updates won't install, errors and reboot.

This is the exact reason I keep a Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox 360 and refuse to even consider a modern system.

A friend goes one step further and watched a VHS copy of Nutcracker last week. All his entertainment is TVoed or VHS and DVD.

When the power goes out forever you're going to want to learn how to read books.

Those are made of paper and sometimes are wrapped in leather.

You don't even need batteries or anything.
