Always found it ironic that movies like Network and Scrooged and such were criticizing the very thing that owns them. It's like the Network execs had their heads in the sand, or simply didn't care, and that all changes overnight for some reason.

It's all about making money and having good ratings. Networks pivot to influencers to see what's hot. Most shows dont get a second season anymore.
So that old first gen Xbox One a co-worker gave away, I'm not sure if it's worth buying too many games for it. I mean if it was bought in 2013, who knows how much use it has left in it.
So far I paid about 12 dollars for Nier Automata, it cost 39.95 plus tax and I had a 30 dollar Gamestop gift card. Considering May be Doom Eternal with the DLC, that's 23 bucks on the Xbox store, Steam sells it for like 70 normally.
The thing is the more I buy the less inclined I'd be to buy a PS5 or Switch later.
