Oh, you can't go wrong with Danny McBride and John Goodman in a comedy.

That's top tier talent right there.

Never got the Wlll Ferrell movies, Anchorman didn't make me laugh at all, Talladega Nights seemed like it was just making fun of Nascar watching conservatives, about the only Ferrell movie I liked was Lego Movie.

Dude, Step Brothers was a comedic masterpiece, what are you even talking about?!

Not to mention Megamind and Elf which are timeless classics.

Oh right, forgot Elf was a Ferrell. Ok that was awesome so point.

Love Megamind, but I consider animations separate from live action because there's so much more to live action comedy then what voice overs can show.

Step Brothers I never even heard of, I will try and see it soon.

I forget that not everyone consumes movies like I do.

I've watched movies every single day since I could figure out what was going on.

And then I went back years later to revisit those movies to see what I could get from an older perspective.

The things I missed in the theater when I first watched Star Wars in '77 were things I finally caught watching it 30 years later.

But I still cringe inside when these kids today haven't seen anything good and think the movies today are so great, listen up MFers you don't even know!!

Have you seen the "despecialized" versions of Star Wars? Someone uploaded all three in MKV form or something at Archive.org.

The super fans say everyone should see the the uncompressed 14 gig version but those are a ***** to get, and the compressed copies are way better then the bonus laserdisc versions from the DVD releases.

Personally I prefer the Silver Screen Edition, because it wasn't made with splicing from multiple sourcez, that came from one original film. Looks about as good as it can on my 720P screen.

I saw them in theaters when they came out, that's good enough for me.

I tolerate the DVD releases because I'm not some nitpicking supernerdge.

It isn't necessary to be ultra elitist gatekeeping turbo fanatic hyper AC/DC about every fictional fandom in existence.

Casual fans enjoy things just as much.

Personally I prefer the special editions anyways, they only add interesting things while keeping the core story untouched.

Except for.Darth Vaders sword, from blood red to pink, that I don't care for.
