Why am I not enjoying Fallout New Vegas as much as I did 3? Everyone insists NV is like the best Fallout ever and 3 sucks.

Could it be because at its core it's still glorified fetch quests of "Go here, talk to guy, take quest, go fifteen minutes to new town, pass stat check, go turn in quest"?

Or is it because I only really cared about Fallout 3 because it had a giant ass robot. voiced by Peter Cullen aka Optimus Prime shouting anti-communism catch phrases?

If you don't get enjoyment don't play it, read a book instead.

Go outside and touch grass, engage with your environment.

You got that right, well the cheap part. But I lost interest after the second chapter. First chapter was all about a billionaire flying economy. What billionaire would fly in economy?

Second chapter was all about introducing new characters. I am all for new characters, but if the last novel had characters that did not get enough storyline, you do not introduce new characters without focusing on the old ones first; especially if you named the second book after them.
