I'm Irish I'm alcoholic.
Friends with plenty of Irish, it's kind of funny how true the stereotypes are.
Had to pull this one Irish friend away from starting a drunken brawl on the street over getting bumped by a passer, and another day his brother had to steal his keys from him. 😂
So as a youth my natural fighting style was to literally press my body up against an opponent and try and shift behind them while they grapple, the movement often threw them off. I wasn't very fit but managed to beat even practiced amateur wrestlers that way (With a point system in a formal setting)
Is this a good fighting tactic? I never reasoned it out, but it does make someone easier to hit, because it stops their movement, but makes it easier to defend too if you're used to it.

I just picked them up and slammed them down, that pretty much settled thingsUnless they got enraged than I got em in a stranglehold and waited till they ran out of energy tanking all the elbow shots
I like it, nobody really gets hurt. Too many people treat fights like death matches these days.
You know what really grinds my gears?
The shade thrown at Travis Bickle. They hate him because he's a vigilant psycho who targets street scum. But you NEVER see that same hate directed at the very people he targets. What about their victims?
They never care two shakes about them or their victims, no expectations for them to not break laws, it's always directed at the lawless who target the lawless.
Basically it's like they have such low expectations of one group, while the other is never allowed to step out of line even a little bit.
I almost got stuck in the elevator again. I was so scared and dont understand why they keep on breaking down. I hate that feel of dread when it starts to drop and gets shaky. One elevator working and 3 others out of order! **** sakes. I miss the luxuries of living in a house, the cost of living in a big city I guess.

I figured it out. The thing bothering me, it has an easy explanation.
Lets say you lose a gift card. It gets stolen maybe. Your friends tell you to suck it up, don't be so careless next time.
Now lets say you find a gjft card. These same friends encourage you to turn it in to the police. They shame you for even joking about it.
Travis Bickle is that friend you shame ot hate for his bad behavior, the street thugs are that anonymous thief you just learn to live with.
Essentially you expect the world of your peers while assuming outsiders act by their own rules.
That kind of system works great if a social contract is in tact but works horribly in a world where there is none, but you pretend there is. All your friends are nothing but easy targets, all your actions help your friend not one bit.

Who is they?
Random commentators. Usually left wing types.
It's actually funny how the Right is allegedly all "law and order" against "black people", while the Left is ALSO law and order, but against "whites".
Logic 101, why assume one group gets to choose evil while the other only reacts to things?
