When the US stops being all womper stomper all over the world and finally takes the care of their citizens seriously, then I rest.
The days of citizens are over. They see the entire world as their beasts of burdon.
If the US or Canada ever fell you can bet our leaders would have cleared out and set up shop in some other friendly country.
I recommend seeing "Don't Look Up", starring Leonardi Dicaprio. The metaphor for whatever the meteor is supposed to represent is less interesting then the social commentary on the government, industry, and media.
Spoiler alert, everyone dies and the elites head off in a space ship to another world. They don't even reflect for a moment on the mass extinction of humanity, and just keep doing what they done.

You know how a Judge sometimes instructs a Jury to disregard something they heard.Since a Jury heard it anyways, couldn't they be swayed in their decision, regardless of what the judge tells them?
And if this is true, doesn't it stand to reason a lawyer might [b]deliberately use a tactic they know won't pass the judge, but that they hope will influence the Jury aagainst the Judges instruction

There's been actual scientific studies done on this. Why not look it up? Oh that's right. We all know why.
They usually get mean any time I actually ask a decent enough question for some reason. Noticed this for awhile regardless of forum or whether in real life or not, for some reason people just get really nasty as soon as someone they don't much respect says something not totally idiotic.
And it's not like I don't try and find studies. But ever try plugging terms into Google and just getting trash aftet trash blogs?
And any studies you do find are blocked to students or anyone with a subscription?
And all that is assuming you even get your search terms right, it's impossible to dig up something if it has its own terminology you aren't familiar with because you haven't studied the topic and only recently thought up a question.
