Yeah it was, but that doesn't mean she can just abandon her kids to the cruel tutelage of the Monarchy, she had to power to raise those kids right and eventually they could have made meaningful change to the Crown, instead she goes off on her own with some Egyptian fvcker and gets got, seems like a huge waste of someone so influential in the world.

Not really, a diplomatic solution is possible here, China is very much about appearances, if the US can make China realize they'll come off as stupid as the Russians then maybe it can be avoided. But no one in the Government is smart enough to do that. Never nuke a country that can nuke you back worse, what people don't know is that China has a lot more Russian nukes than anyone... so let them posture and roar and look big time but hold the line.

The Queen had control over her and she realized this early on, even the staff were mean to her. She did a few interviews about it. Charles had made custom jewelry for Camilla and Diana found out. All in the interview.
The Egyptian Billionaire was her escape.
