Damn Yankees come to mind, they had singer/guitarist Tommy Shaw of Styx, singer/bassist Jack Blades of Night Ranger, guitarist Ted Nugent of the Amboy Dukes, and drummer Michael Cartellone (who would later join Lynyrd Skynyrd).

If u can't understand it I won't listen to it. But if it sounds good I'll give it credit, where credit is due. French rap for example sounds better than American rap, it has more dimension.

I find Italian rappers to be technically more interesting than American, nicer flow and beats, even if I have no idea what they're saying.
