That's exactly why old money doesn't waste because they don't have a surplus of wealth--they got there wealth from a generation built on tradition

The challenge of making it yourself is so much more satisfying, imo

When it comes too old money, it must feel like a burden to live up to the standard of a name. And when you are new money, you are basically self made.

It's like in a video game, if you have easy mode on and all the cheat codes the game becomes boring.
