Am I wrong? No. It's not racist to notice what is actually happening with schools.
Is it racist to notice who is doing a lot of the violent crime if they are a certain race?
No, it's pure observation. Oh look the entire US chess team is entirely Chinese, I wonder why they're not more diverse. At some point calling people racist for noticing things got weaponized by liberals and all it does is divide the people so they're too busy fighting each other and not going after the real problems of this world.
Just because you notice an observation doesn't necessarily make it true, that is a bias heading towards prejudice. It's referred to as social inclusion, when you include everyone, and social exclusion when you do the opposite.
What you are stating is incorrect. It might be true for one school of students but for all schools, that would mean you would have had to have taken a poll of averages to determine that all schools with a chess club in the country are predominantly asain.
You are also forgetting that particular minorities don't have private schools of their own? I remember reading about this subject matter in a journal. It stated this question, "What if black students where in an all black school--would they learn more?
This article talked about how colored minorities tend to sit in the back, while white caucasian sat in the front and how students placed in the back were less likely to see the board, and ask for individual help. Students placed in the front, could see the board clearly and the teacher could easily reach out to them because of familiarity.
Back to my point. You are wrong because not every school in America has Asain students with a chess club. Also you would have to prove that Asain students are more willing to learn.

Why do SJWs hate chess?Because white pieces must move before black pieces and the queen must protect the king. 😛
Personally, I'd be happy with blue and yellow pieces or pink and green. I mean, why not? But I'm sure you'll pick a fault like, "why do the lighter pieces still get to go first?"
😂 Womp womp
