USH'S LOTR RP Game part 2- The Fortress of Baranar

Started by rusky211 pages

(uh....Ush, sorry to bother u, noticed u ARE rather busy with the cave and all, but what about Baranar ? 🙂 Last I checked we were quietly heading towards the enemy stores.)

Last I checked you guys at Baranar hadn't come up with a plan for final approach TO those stores, Andromir. I can start your fight as soon as you make a decisive mood.

Bit tied up with real life right now folks- I shall kick this all off once I am back from work tomorrow!

Revan fires his flaming arrow into the cave to give the warriors fighting inside some light. He nocks another arrow to his string and fires it at one of the orcs.

(((Uh... guys coming this monday I'll not be able to conect by the morning, my vacations will end and I'll have to go sleep at the school 😂 )))

(I still think it is best that we have two ppl staying as lookouts, I think Airangel and TpT don't mind, sorry if you pps do, then suggest someone elsze, all other ppl should best converge on the cave, fighters first archers behind)

(i dont mind staying behind..cuz everytime i do something its wrong!!)

((Ok Fire so Ariwing is a fighter so he goes first with the other fighters.....erm.....who are the other fighters -.-"?))

Eliara goes back to her tree and climbs up. Her keen eyes search high and low for any stirrings about from other directions.

All was clear except a few leaves that were twirling in the wind.

(airangel who said everything you do is wrong, we all just need to learn to work together, and ppl are still finding their place within this group, always takes a while, corlindel is another warrior drake and me too drake)

(Just me and Corlindel are warriors?)

Revan decides he could better help the others on the ground, since the orcs aren't coming out of the cave. He leaps to the ground and moves behind the warriors.

(i know...it just gets a bit frusterating)

No prob Fire, my flashlight of doom is not much use in a fight.
*Stands and looks lookouty*

A single flaming arrow, which extinguishes itself within seconds anyway, will not solve the problem of light in the cave. Ironically, you have escluded from the cave your Mage who was perfectly suited to solving that very problem.

Ok, here are the circumstances of the cave fight, as three more Orcs with spears come running in.

Each player has three numbers by him/her. The first is the Manoeuvre rating, which dictates the order in which you move if this is important. The second is remaining stamina. The third is his/her defensive score. The fourth is/her offensive score with his/her current weapon. Any persistent wound effects will be put here also.

Ok, we shall take the fight from here. I assume that, as previously requested, Corlindel wants to strike at an Orc, and that Revan and Airwing want to head inside. The Orcs are all ready to attack again... so makes your moves, guys! As a reminder, here is the checklist for when you are in a fight:

1. Decide how much Offensive Score you will pull out to help defend yourself
2. Pick an opponent to strike at this round. You will be facing that opponent, so other enemies will be at your sides and rear appropriately.
3. Allocate that offence you pulled out for defence amongst opponents, and if you have a shield, nominate that against an opponent to your front.
4. Try and hit! Remembering your Offensive Score will be reduced by his Defensive score plus whatever he puts into parrying against you, and maybe also his shield.

-

Meanwhile, come on, Baranar people, are you moving in or not?

(for the love fo god, 2 look outs would have been enough, TpT care to come and help us with some light?, sorry for this thought darvan his flaming arrow would have more of an effect)

1) take of 10
2) an orc with a spear
3) shield to the orc with his spear, 5 of my deducted offensive to my left and right side
4) try to hit

(need an example 😄 )

The combat rules thread has the example, Palanfirith. BTW, will you please re-invest your stat +5s to represent that one of them has to be Presence? Thankyou...

Argentis, I need to know specific targets that your set-aise offensive score is being used against.

((I assume there is enough light to an equal fight at the entrance..?..Or..We need a mage to cast light!!))

1-Take 5 ce to help defence
2 - Attack the nearest orc who comes from my right side - I am at the right side of the cave, next to the wall - I don't know what type of orc is it? Spear or archer?
3 - Allocate the five I took from offensive score to the same orc, but only if he has a spear.
4 - Try to hit ocs's head or neck.
😐

Corlindel swings his sword over is head and as fast as he can, slashes the orc in front of him, on his neck.

((I thought the archers had not reloaded their bows..))

okie lemme see
those two other orcs with their spears
