Burning debris is thrown over the walls near the gatehouse by Baranar's men, lighting up the whole of the front of the castle, revealing targets for his archers behind their arrow slits to fire at. The gatehouse opens as Argentis rides in first, the rest of you with Orcs closing in all around.
It is possible the Orcs could catch and kill some of you. But not appreciating your importance, they do not want the casualties that going near the gatehouse would incur- they want to save that for when they storm this place!
