USH'S LOTR RP Game part 2- The Fortress of Baranar

Ok then...Andromir slashes at the near orc with his sword, nothing but his shield for defence..

Ah what the hell! I'll shoot at an archer just to give the imperssion that I am doing something.

Corlindel aims the orc's neck and slashes trying to finish him cutting his head - block with shield.
"Kill that one Darvan!" He shouts "Keep pushing the ladders soldiers"

As you have a Soft Leather score, Darvan, you can be wearing that.

Vardalain scores a 13C- not a kill, I am afraid, but keep it up. Again. Vardalain survives the return fire, though it is going to hit one day! Meanwhile, Baranar's archers have scored another kill there, and another rock from the slide kills two more Orcs. Argentis, you socre a wound also, so I shall kill off the one that Vardalain hit, for a bit of teamwork there... Palidan, you score a glancing hit, but only a flesh wound.

Darvan, you lay into your target. The snarling Orc takes two steps back, keeping you at bay with his spear, before jabbing towards you- you fend the blow aside.

Andromir, the fight on the West Wall is desperate. One ladder has been secured on the wall and its defenders killed! Now Orcs are starting to clamber up it freely. Your Orc stabs at you but you sidestep the blow (no record of you having a shield, I am afraid), but that leaves you off-balance and your return stroke does not hit home.

This damn Orc does not want to die, Corlindel. But rolling a 94 is very welcome- the 21 E doesn't quite get a decapitation but it IS a kill. But already another Orc has taken its place... if you can just get a few moments after repelling an attack you can take care of this but the Orcs are hanging on grimly!

Also, Corlindel, your Elvish ears pick up a rhythmic metallic noise somewhere nearby.

You might be able to get a shot but I would be lying if I said it was without risk.

Corlindel takes two steps back away from the nearest orc's spear and looks around trying to find where comes from a strange mettalic noise looking around him ant outside the eastern and southern wall.

Then he tries a quick slash downwards the nearest orc's head - block with shield

(Ush. How many soldiers are on the East wall?)

Anyway, I use the shield to defend against the same orc as I slash at him again..

Oh yes, Dexx, I am keeping track! Why you might think you had an extra quiver is because you DID buy more than 20 arrows. But as you have nothing to carry them in they will be with your stuff (in the Keep).

I'll just wait for some other moves...

I'm almost out of ammo pretty sure of that but I dont care that much, once the gate is breached it's all sword anywayz
