Irarilde, there is another javelineer directly in front of you- he reaides his javelin and throws it straight at you!
Anglomir, you grunt in exertion as you hack into its back. This time you bite deeply, and the Wight stumbles.
Luckily you are rather good at this kind of thing, Vardalain, and you are always equipped to stop bleeding, which you do so fast.
"There they are!" cries Gorlim, as he and Annphor wade throigh the fog come to the fight with Talin.
"Hey you!" William says. He backs up a bit and picks up some fist-sized rocks, using his Hobbity powers to chuck them at high speeds into the back of the Barrow-wight's head. "What does Barrow-wight mean, anyway?" he asks himself, deciding he'll ask the Elves later...if they have survived the conflict.
No-one knows the term 'Barrow Wight', just the Elves have recognised it as a Wight.
Anglomir, you hack at the Wight once, twice, three times- and then it catches your sword arm in its left hand, burning you horribly.
The rock throwing- as they clang off the armour- does indeed distract the other Wight; it turns angrily to face you, William, as Gorlim and Annphor come running over.
You can patch him, Vardalain, by Argentis is solidly down for this fight- he needs to lie still or he's going to get much worse.
Talin, you jam your axe into its back. FINALLY you have made a solid blow. It howls in anger again, not knowing who to face. However, that move splits your bindings open. You have lost far too much blood from sych a stab, and you collapse backwards.
Palanfirith, you are still achieving very little with arrows. Anglomir is trying to pound and pound at it but with little effect- your sword arm has gone completely numb, Anglomir, your sword dropped.
Sword not an ideal throwing weapon I am afraid, William- you miss.
The Wight with an axe in its back whirls to face Gorlim, blocking his first blow.
(am I the only one that doesn't have a hole in him ? 😈.don't get any ideeas though...🙂 )
Palanfirith shoots arrows in the week points(not protected by that armor). If that doesn't succed at all I tie the rope to the end of my knife then jump on the back of the creature stab him in the neck(in front part) then quickly back off. Then I'll try to pull the rope and the knife to cut his neck big time.
BB, I already answered you, so more foot trapping might make another nasty injury come your way, especially as you just dropped your sword.
Talain and Argentis are effectively dropped and out of the fight, though bindings may stop Talin bleeding to death.
Seriously, Palanfirith, there is no amount of looking for weak points that will help- arrows are not working!
And it doesn't HAVE a neck! Not one you can cut! This is an unearthly being of darkness, not a big orc!
It actually has an axe in its back, rather than a hole, Vardalain. Again, your arrows will be no use.
Annphor tries to get to the side of his one as it struggles with Gorlim but the Wight pushes Gorlim back and he stumbles into his friend...

Itarilde, your wounded horse panics as you swerve, and throws you to the ground as the javelin saisl over you.
The Dunlending, having thrown his weapon, decides this frail woman will be easily dispatched with his bare hands, and he comes towards you as you rise
