USH'S LOTR RP Game part 2- The Fortress of Baranar

It's not a lingering curse per say, it was a one off effect- but you do not know if the black rain has been cleared up, or anything, or how long it remains contagious.

You definitely cannot catch it in the area outside the rain, but once you have it it is too late.

"Because this is the centrepiece of Arvedui's plan!" says Gorlim, unless of course you meant Baronar- but frankly, I enjoy this confusion in stressful times!

hehe

Baronar will demonstrate his thinking.

"Why were YOU in the Downs?" he asks you all.

yes

errr...

lol sorry didn't read the why

"cause gorlim thought it would be faster if we cut across country"

"Not faster," says Gorlim. "Safer."

"But why safer?" asks Baronar.

"Because Lord Gorlim suggested that if we took the road, Dunlendings would attack us. If we took the Downs, nothing would be there, though we then found out about the Wights."

William is depressed by all this clamour, which is unusual, considering that he is a Hobbit. Being depressed is something majorly different for him.

"Indeed, Anglomir says true."

"Yes," says Baronar. "Safer because nothing was there, and nothing would see you.

I think the Orcs were thinking the exact same thing."

"Most likely"

"Well, we should make a choice soon. Time is running out. But do not forget the boy. We need to keep him as safe as possible if he is to join us." Aniica cut in. "I don't think we should take the road, for fear of being attacked, but the Downs are no better."

"Baronar, was your son here when the black rains came?"

Aniica looked out the window. A gust of wind blew in it. She shivered. Clouds began to roll in. She shrugged it off.

"if we stay and talk too much all our efforts to do something will be for nothing. We better pull out the boy form the castle(in a way so he won't be affected,to be taken by a elf kind or something like that) and then search for the couse of this ill.We should get it back to normal as soon as possible because in this situation an attack is imminent and the defences are down..." says Palanfirith.

Aniica looked at Baronar. "I'd be willing to look after your son, my Lord." She turned to Palenfirith " AT least some one else agrees with me!"

"Have you been paying attention to what we've been saying? The rains have likely affected ALL who were in Baronar's fortress. Nobody is undiseased here, other than us. And it is possible that we non-Elves have become diseased! Baronar's son may be diseased, and he himself may be diseased! It is a curse from the Witch King!!!"

Talin turns to Baronar. "Orcs not wanting to be seen? Why?"

"Talin, I have been. I was saying that if the boy isn't affected I'd look after him after all I am an Elf!" Anii rolled her eyes.

"I think what Talin ment is we can not take the risk, if this curse is able to spread to the outside world, which we are unsure of, taking out the child could become pretty dangerous, also how do we know wether or not the child is infected?"

"I'm sure Vardalain would be able to check for it," Talin says. "If he were to be allowed into the tower."
