indeed,we need to find another way over...

Oh my! So much to do! I still need to find that damn map of Baronar...

This Orc is prov9ing a tough customer, Anglomir. You hit him with your dirk but it growls defiance at you, bashing its shield against yours with great strength and following up with a blow from its curved sword...

The other men quickly get into position...

Meanwhile, back at the Last Bridge...

Problem with the Hoarwell River- the Mitheithel, as the Elves call it- is that it is a ***** to cross, which is somewhat the point of the Last Bridge. Hmm...

However- and rather late so I hope she still comes- not all eyes upon you right now are the enemy's. For riding nearby is a Sindar scout from Rivendell, Tinuviel, played by Sylvannas.

Tinuviel, Rivendell- or Imladris- has been troubled of late as the Orcish presence to the South along the river grows in strength. You are one of many scouts he has sent out to guage the positions of the enemy as they move. This position on the Last Bridgre you scouted in person- on the wrong side, cursed fate... if you had just been a little quicker! Still, you know another way across far to the South. You have kept the Bridge under observation for many days, for signs of anything else coming. But all you see are these strangers. At first you mistook them for simple travellers.

But two of them are Elves!

aa..another way to the south..she can lead the way, then

"yea but we'd best hurry so get a move on"

''It's Tinuviel,Vardalain !!'' Fitch makes a sign so it will be reconed..
He will help us pass it..

Anglomir lets the blow hit his shield, and thrusts for the chest.

Doh! No Sylvannas! Typical timing from me...

Well the closest other place to cross is down to the south where the Hoarwell and the Loudwater (or Mitheithel and Bruinen) meet. But that is a considerable way down into Cardolan- a huge diversion! Buit you cannot see any other way.

Anglomir, your shields clash, and you both thrust... and you are ever so slightluy the faster. Your blow connects and the orc contonues to snarl as he sinks to the ground.

"Lets go ppl"

Anglomir lets him fall and heads for the next Orc, aiming for a decapitation.

How are the other men doing?

William fires one last arrow in the direction of the Orc scout, in case it didn't drop.

"Alright archers, fire on the Orcs farthest away from our men! Cut down their numbers quicker!" William fires two arrows from his bow to start it off, aiming for the Orcs near the "back-line."

Gosh darn, I am always SO tired when I get back to this!

Your target meets your blow, Anglomir, and a second moves aroundf to your left side. A third would be on your right as well- but a well-aimed arrow from one of Baronar's men hits it in the neck and it falls. Problem is, hard to say who is what and where in the dark... William, though, you are damn sure you scored a hit this time!

Anglomir backs away so that they are both in front of him. He slings his shield on his back for a moment and throws a dirk at each of them before taking out his shield again.

and then we're riding...

actually...i don't know what we're doing..apparently we're holding still...

normally we should be riding towards the south to cross the river there

maybe we're waiting for tinuviel

We're waiting for everyone. 😛

I assume he/she will follow along, until she actualy gets online

William gets a little closer to get a better aim, and fires arrows at the two Orcs near Anglomir.

Sylvannas isn;t coming, is she? Bugger bugger bugger... she checked the thread out about ten minutes before I put her in as well... gah!

The ORcs level their shields, Anglomir, and your dirks clang off of them. Then one leaps forwards and grapples at your shield arm as you try and bring it back around, and the other stabs forwards at you...

A risk of hitting Anglomir, William, Taking it?

Ok, the Rivendell party, you have a LONG journey south across dodgy country. What will your approach be?

Those at Baronar- Dunlendings are starting to drift in in small groups, to join the siege... Baronar is sending out riders to gather all the people in the nearby villages into the fort.
