If you have no money, you get one set of clothing and can select one weapon and that is it- someone else will have to pay for your general gear. I recommend those without money get it loaned to them by someone else, and pay them back as time goes by (yes, you will find money, it is a staple of the Fantasy RPing genre)
Palidan, I am a little fuzzy on your starting money. You should start with ten gp, leaving you with a little over 2gp left.
Warhorses are trained to be stable in battle (if you are riding any other horse into battle you had best be either Elf or Animist) and also give riding bonuses.
Vardalain, yup!
Phoe, yes, this is for you too, it is for everyone.
Incidentally, if you are buying lots of stuff, yuo really should consider a pack animal.

A +5 item costs ten times the listed price.

dunno if the bow i already picked some time ago counts as a default weapon...so i don't know if i have a weapon already or not....if i do have a bow..then i'm not buying this.
well..that's about it....sems i even have some spare.....
hope i didn't skip anything...
don't really know what the differences between those horses are 🙂..but i can't afford a warhorse anyway
Warhorse not your style. Actually, a heavy horse may not be very Elf-like, except in that you could usr him to carry your stuff as well.
Regardless as to any bow you picked up, Vardalain, you started the game with a bow so you have to pay for it.
All looks good. A gold piece goes a long way, actually. Most people deal in silver and bronze; they get surprised when you bring out the gold.
You did actually go along in a semi-private capacity, Rusky. Do remember the soldiers, and especially Knights, often paid their own way at war, and if you donl;t have the finances to equip yourself then you are rather going mano-a-mano!
But don't fret, I am sure someone will lend you the money. Technically speaking Palanfirith can indeed do that because you all started in Fornost.
Vardalain, it's not essential, but you may feel it is money saved.
