Who should play Gambit?

I think that Orlandom bloom has been in to many things, and he couldent play gambit. None of them can Collin is IRISH!!!! Gambit is american, and has a frinch accsent! we sould find the perfect guy to play him and if not. Take every kind of sergical equipment to change the. or just repeatedly run over them with a car until they resimbel him. just say he got mugged!

Orlando bloom has been in tonnes of stuff yes but its always the same type of moive, all his movies involve him being a "swash buckler" he hasnt ben in a movie revolving around modern day times, always involves a sword

so true. i doubt he could do anything but that. gambit is too complex for little mr. pretty. and that’s just all i have to say.

yes an unknown would be good but i was just checking out the xmen film site and it said it gets upedated every wek or so, and gambit is still jsut a rumoured character so fingers are crossed

gambit and his thieves guild buddies break into a building and see something that they shouldnt have seen, all of his friends are killed except him, so he seeks out prof. X and his x-men for safety and they end up protecting him and he becomes an x-man

cool or Gambit in the B-hood and fights Wolverine to a standstill gets away...saves Storm from some sentianals and just when Wolverine is about to kill Gambit, Wolverine thinks Gambit beat up Storm and wants a rematch..xavier mentally tells Wolverine that Gambit is on thier side and he was a spy all along.

or maybe, if they want it to be really easy to explain him in, he's just a mutant thief living here in new orleans, maybe he doesn't hardly even use his powers (well, not the kinetic ones, though charm may be a factor) and while protecting himself from [some enemy of x-people], he's arrested, going to be held on an unfair trial just because he's a mutant. x-men hear about it, xavier sends out team to get remy, they bring him back, and he's his usual gorgeous, solitary, suave hottie self. end of tale. takes seven minutes to do. twelve if you include the fight scene and a bit of extra-dramatic rescue. should be no problem. but try telling one of the high-and-mighties that dube and mainstream and laurel say we have the best ideas. we won't get anywhere. *sigh* i oughta change my slogan-y thing to unappreciated. you know what? i will. right now. cy'all. i have to edit my thingy.

add a little dube, and we got it down. mine's the easiest, but it's by no means the most interesting. you guys have more zazz. mine's a bit more logical, though, an easy to achieve. logical as in practical for movie purposes.
