yeah. i don't know. there's something unnatural there. why would our independent, proud lone wolf go to anyone for help? he wouldn't. even if they were to use my idea, and the x-men rescued him from being held in jail or some other prison, he would have been annoyed as hell for having to be saved. he'd never willingly admit that he needed help. especially not on his own. i mena, if someone made him... but i don't see that. the whole thing's just missing something. but seeing something he's not supposed to see is okay... maybe... if someone planned a crime or something... and when he was fighting, trying to save himself and his friends... and the leader sees his potential... someone knocks him out, he wakes up trapped. then comes the rescue. works? perhaps? i think that he would never ask for help. just a suggestion?
Trying to introduce Gambit are we? 😄
Well how about Gambit finds jean grey unconscious, finding out where she comes from he escorts her back to the x-men mansion and sees storm who asks him to stay and join them (being that they knew each other from long ago). Being Gambit he refuses until his eye catches rogue. Budda bing budda boom the rest writes itself 😛
gambit could be part of a mutant gang or sumtin. He's doin a job, pullin a hiest at a casino or wateva, getz into some beef with coppers or whateva....he splits....Xavier sees mutant activity, x-men track him....he brawls with them, using his pole thingy and pulling off somce impressive screentime....getz nailed by one of the x0men..wolverine?....wakes up in mansion in med room....sees rogue...HELLOOO SUGAH!
as do i. keep in mind, folks, if it ain't easy, it ain't getting done. something vague and easily explained is key here. not everybody knows about phoenix and belladonna and storm. the easiest way is a way that you need absolutely no background, just eyes to see that he makes cards glow & blow up and hits people with a glowy stick. that's all most people will get, and that's all the time they'd put into including him in x3. i'm saying, if they do anything, it's really simple. no backstory, no factual accuracy, just put him in and shut up if you don't like it. that's all, if anything, that the people who make a difference will do. btw, i still like my idea, even though you guys have more fun ones. love to all!

^ most reasonable post so far...
gambit wont get a big history, he won't be a huge part (inot in x3 anyway), he'll be part of a huge ensemble cast, its simply not possible to make this movie and give him loads of screen time considering its his first appearence in the x movies...

wel gambit is either going to be the basis for the enxt story, or hes gonna be a cameo, thats all im saying
he couldnt be either... he isnt important enough to be the basis, and a cameo would piss off so many fans... they'll give him a similar role to pyro in x2 i think (screen time wise)
