hey, mana! love the image you attached! i can't think where i've seen it before, though... (for those who don't get the joke, that's the picture that both mana and i got our avatars from.) i can't think of anything serious to say other than *cough* -lack of foreplanning- *cough*. not wise, to not plan out every detail of our remy's being in the film. sorry. i can't think straight. it's my 17th birthday today, and talk about a sugar high! anyhow, g2g. love y'all!

how about we get rid of anna paquin? i really hate her. she's a crummy rogue. sorry, but that's my opinion. and she totally ruins the gambit/rogue thingy. gambit can't be some idiot teenager. it was okay for iceman- he's immature as it is. for rogue, it was pushing the limits, but it was doable. but as for gambit? HELL no. i mean, HECK no. pardon my language. i'm really mad. gambit's whole sexy suave charm thing isn't something you'd ever find in a teenager. he's learned his sex appeal from much practice. some goofy kid would mess it up totally. we need a new rogue. this is the x-men. can't someone write in a body switch or something? argh! sorry. but i hate anna paquin. and now our movie has a major plot hole/mess up thing. darn it. okay. well, rant done. feel free to argue with me. i enjoy a pointless debate every now and then. love y'all! cya, sez me, laurel.
eh.... I kind of like the new rogue... I dont think the in-your-face southern gal' rogue would have worked as well...
I dont think theyre going to do Gambit/Rogue, so dont worry about Gambit being a teenager.
they should do gambit/rogue. the stupid iceman thing was boring before it started. and maybe not the in-your-face rogue, but something other than, 'oh, halp. halp me, i'm a poor damsel in distress. boo hoo'. maybe 'i can stand up all by myself and don't need to be babysat 24/7' would have been better. in my opinion. and you see, that's key. the fact that it's all opinion. feel free to have your own thoughts. and i will have mine. i hate anna paquin. perhaps jealousy? but no, because i loved everyone else. and at the time, i liked jean grey better than rogue. so i should have been jealous of however-you-spell-it girl. another thought is that they should have remy. but this is all me. love y'all, i g2g right NOW.

there! someone else noticed it. i think that there is something crucial missing. it' in the acting. i'm pretty sure. i would bet you money that anna paquin knows little or nothing about rogue, and she doesn't care. that's the key. to act a character, you must feel that character. especially when said character is someone with as much spunk and personality as rogue. anna paquin doesn't like the x-men. she doesn't think rogue is interesting and cool. she just plays the part to get the paycheck, and it shows. that's what i think. as an actor, i seem to be recognizing the i-hate-this-stupid-role-so-i'm-gonna-do-a-pathetic-job-syndrome. i could be wrong though. feel free to argue! love from laurel!
Anna said that she read a lot of the comics and stuff, but remember...rouge absorbed many people, she could have gotten her confidence from miss marvel. or someon else!

You'd be right there! Rogue's spunky personality is allegedly due to the fact that she permantly absorbed Ms. Marvel's psyche.
Originally posted by Going-Rougeokay. i have two things to say to that. to the comics-reading: so she read some comic books. and? because i wanted to understand a girl better, i’ve read and reread her satanic bible several times. that doesn't change that i am still a mormon catholic. i don't act any different for that influence, nor does it affect my daily life and the decisions i make. just because anna paquin read up on rogue doesn't mean she acted on anything there. maybe she already made her choice before reading. maybe it's not even her choice! i can't say for sure she chose to act that way. maybe her director told her to. maybe she can't act well enough to make a conscious decision... but i don't know that at all. the other thing i had to say was about the comment rouge absorbed many people, she could have gotten her confidence from miss marvel. or someon else! that's definitely true. that is true. but i honestly can't help but wonder if she knows that, or if we comic-readers are putting that in for her. just wondering! anyway, i have two finals today, neither of which i studied for. you know, birthday weekend, lots of partying. so i had better try to salvage my grade. ah, well. i don't think even if i get a 'c' it will mess up my grade. i think if you have an overall 'a' for the semester you can get down to a 'c' and still ace the course. but i’m getting an 'a' in english and a 'b' in government. i know this. another 'laurel psychic moment', as michelle would say. back on topic! um, oh yeah. my opinion on keanu reeves is no. but that's just me. or is it? anyway, g2g! i love ya'll!
