Laurel, I would like to say sorry if you found my "Frenchy" comment some how racist, thou I don't think that would be the right word in this situation. Yet I could be wrong. I was atcually refering to that Hollywood at the moment doesn't seem to see French people as, Hero's. It take it you would class Gambit as that. Maybe because of the whole iraq war thing but who knows, take POTO a film set in France but not one French actor. This might be because they can't act or more than likely the US hates France and to be totally honest so does alot of the rest of the world. Personnally I don't care either way. As for me being throwm of this thread it seems as if this page needs people like me who don't have the same view as everyone else or it would just have 256pages of Gambit is so cool. Nice but boring to read as I said its a debate as such you need two sides or its just a$$ kissing 😛

However I still stand by my first statement that Gambit is at best a mediocre character that the Director didn't see worthy to be in the first two movies so why would he put him in this one. Ok call me crazy, but... who rembers The guy that played Will Smith's character's best friend in the movie Independance Day? You know the one who couldn't outrun the alien ship and got blown up? Well tha actor's name is Harry Connick Jr. ,and he is cajun/ creole. Personally I think he should at least be considered for the role b/c he has that perfect balance of French swagger and southern charm. Plus I don't think Anna Paquin would complain either.....
