I think I mentioned on another thread that Gambit's voice is the critical part of his character. I've got a couple of suggestions.
Harry Connick Jr is a GOOD actor, actually from Louisiana, meets most of the physical specs, and dude has the right kind of sound.

Lucas Black (Tokyo Drift and Sling Blade) is from Alabama and his accent is pretty thick. He's a little young, but has a great stare.

I'm a little disappointed that I never got a yea or nae on this one. I actually put a little thought into it. If it's nae that's alright. A why would be nice. A counter offer would be better. If it's that Josh guy...might be best if you keep it to yourself

Vincent Cassel should play Gambit. He has proven himself to be a good actor, he has the body shape required to play gambit and he is French. Get the real accent to play him, not a fake one.
