I'm at an empasse between Channing Tatum (he's a great character actor with amazing potential and the right build. Plus, he's also a southerner with a French ethnic background!) and Victor Webster (he's an up and coming actor with great potential, he's charismatic and is tall enough and has the build too even though he's not a southerner. Actually, he's from Canada but raised in the US.) What do you guys think of these two?

I agree, I was a little pessimistic after I saw the Covenant (That's a really BAAAD movie), he looked just like another model turned actor, but after watching him in Friday Night Lights I was amazed by his acting skills, his portrayal of Tim Riggins is so powerful that I've become addicted to this show after watching 1 episode...I'm very excited to see him in Wolverine, I just hope he gets enough screen time and not just a 2 min cameo, I can't wait for this movie!!!

I'm assuming this guy was picked based on his look; his filmography wasn't very impressive, though I'm not sure I've actually seen any of his stuff.

a Canadian actor named Taylor Kitsch who's been in only Snakes on a Plane, as far as movie roles go. Popped up in a few TV show episodes here and there, but this seems to be his first big break in the movie genre *shrugs* I'm not too impressed but .. we'll see.
