'Eärwen' is the Quenya-word for 'mermaid' or 'lady of the sea' and was the name of the Elven king Olwë's daughter, usually nicknamed 'the Swan-Maiden'... she was also the mother of Galadrië from the movie 🙂

Dorthonion is a forest (or 'was'... 6500 years before the War of the Ring)... the first men of the west lived there, but it was a politically somehow... difficult area o.o got destroyed/deserted several times
