we pay the .99/month for the kazaa lite. it doesn't make it legal, but it does stop the spyware & ads. we don't download very much anyway, plus we have the "share" function disabled. also, once we download a song, we move it into another folder to be safe. or we burn a cd & delete it. the main reason we use it is when our music students ask to learn a song, and we need to hear it a few times to teach it to them. i still buy plenty of cd's.

Why do you pay for KazaaLite, Juli?
I wasn't aware of another way to have Kazaa without the spyware & ads, etc. w/o paying the fee. Besides, it was Bryan who decided to set it up that way. I think he was under the impression at first that it made it legal. I informed him otherwise. Should I not be paying .99/month?
