we pay the .99/month for the kazaa lite. it doesn't make it legal, but it does stop the spyware & ads. we don't download very much anyway, plus we have the "share" function disabled. also, once we download a song, we move it into another folder to be safe. or we burn a cd & delete it. the main reason we use it is when our music students ask to learn a song, and we need to hear it a few times to teach it to them. i still buy plenty of cd's.

hehe I still don't see the moral problem with downloading music, anything else, I admit is stealing but with the price of CD's these days I don't consider downloading music stealing

I don't consider [it] stealing

Logic? you say it's stealing but then when you find out you download, you deceide it isn't?

no I admit that it is stealing technicaly speaking

but for me personaly I don't consider it stealing

so if someone were to ask me do you think downloading music is stealing; I'd say no
but if someone were to ask me is downloading music stealind; I'd say yes

😑

oh, look! a puppy! *runs off*

*follows*

there is a difference between what I personaly think and what is actual fact

Why do you pay for KazaaLite, Juli?

i dont consider it stealing either fire, it doenst embody the spirit of stealing really. we are not taking an actual product of any kind, merely something that is provided to us for a fairer price.

cause they don't want the ads and the spyware I guess
I just have my virus scan and pop-up killer counter it all instead of paying

We're just taking something that we would easily pay for would the price be democratic and we are paying for something that is imo actualy common goods

I wasn't aware of another way to have Kazaa without the spyware & ads, etc. w/o paying the fee. Besides, it was Bryan who decided to set it up that way. I think he was under the impression at first that it made it legal. I informed him otherwise. Should I not be paying .99/month?

Sharing music is stealing, but hell, the corporates steal 75% of my labor every day...
