no fair! well, we paid for one year all at once, or maybe it was two? i won't pay anymore after that runs out.

Was it maybe a voluntary donation? You say your husband handled it; the people who write these free programmes often ask for donations.

They called it a "subscription". It advertised it as "no spyware" "no ads" - for .99 per month, but you had to pay 2 years, I think, at once. I can look back & see exactly who we paid, when & how much, but I think it was around $23 or $24. Bummer, huh?!?
