FOR THE LAST TIME: THE GUY HAD 5 LINES IN THE MATRIX, AND THEY ALL SUCKED. It was everyone else that made it good.

And I totally believe that we're entitled to our own opinion, but if you think Keanu Reeves is a good actor, you need to learn some more about acting

I said I think he's a good actor... Definatly not the best.. infact I think he's one of the worst..

But I respect him.. and I like some of his work..

though, The Gift sucked....
I agreed with you about his acting abilities.
Still doesn't mean I think he's the worst actor I've ever seen.

Well Hayden Christensan was horrible in Star Wars (I heard he was good in Life as a House, though). And Madonna should never act again. But Hayden's better than Keanu.

That's your opinion.. mine is slightly different.

He is not horrible....at all! You warent ment to ''act'' a person out, you were ment to ''become'' that person.....
Keanu is an ok actor, but i certanly dont think hes horrible.....

Yea sorry I forgot to put that in there. But it isn't like i wasn't aware. He also does not research the fighting types, which is Kung Fu by the way, he is taught them by professionals.

Oh, and I mentioned Hayden and Madonna because of CandyKorn's previous post (saying that there are worse actors [although Hayden was better than Keanu] than Keanu).

Keanu is a bad actor. Ask anyone who knows a reasonable amount about acting. And when I say reasonable I mean a true understanding of the art.

Kes, if I watch an interview they'll tell me how good he is in the work department. Not the acting department. And there are a lot of scenes that are CGI, and I DO know that they were hooked on wires for probably an equal amount of scenes. And what do you mean he bought a Harley for every stunt in it?

OK, some great actors have said that the 'performing art' i.e. acting in films is dead! D-E-A-D!!
You are talking about people who understand the real art of acting...those people conserned with the theathre mostly, not films!

So, you're saying I don't have a reasonable understanding because my opinion on one actor is different to yours?

Personally, I'm indifferent as far as it comes to Keanu..

I'd also like to know where your knowledge of acting/actors comes from?
