It's SHE. Maliciousness was not my intent, I see that many of you seem to think that, but I guess actually me being concerned isn't an option in your minds. Since I'm some kind of monster or something.

Casting is for the UK citizens only, but apparently if they can't find no one suitable for the roles then they will HAVE to go abroad to find them.

I have made it obvious to everyone that castng is UK only... but you did not have to say she was immature and be so demeaning about it however... back to the point of this thread!

hey living in a dream world worked for Kevin Spacey in K-Pax....so it can't be that bad. Fleur will no doubt be played by someone that is atleast 21/22 years old. I love how Hollywood gets adults to portray children. Look at the cast of the O.C., they're all 21+ except mischa barton (she's 17) and they are all supposed to be 16 year olds, and the same goes for the Dawsons Creek Crew. How lame?!

I love K-Pax, it was so cool! And when he ate the banana - haha! 😘

However, back to topic... I think whoever plays Fleur should be quite slim, to project an impression of being tall, but short enough that boys feel protective of her etc.

And really nice silvery-blonde hair, like the Elves in LotR

Hi this is MalfoyLuva's friend, Cissa. *waves* Look you guys, we understand that we live in the U.S., but so did Eleanor Columbus, right? She was an American before. (she plays susan bones). And even if there is, a very, very small chance, it's still a chance. SO what have we got to lose, right? What are they gonna do? Sue us for trying? huh? now WHAT? (no harm intended ^_~)

I think she only got the part because she's Chris's daughter... I really don't wanna burst anyone's bubble, but before anyone gets their hopes set on a part in Harry Potter, JK has expressed a wish for UK actors, and she has a lot of weight in the casting and scripting...

But Chris Columbus isn't the director anymore is she?

Chris Columbus is a guy.

No, he is not directing POA. It's Alfonso Cuarón.

He directed the re-make of A Little Princess, that came out a couple years ago. You should check it out, if you haven't already, it's really good.

There you go! That's a more realistic approach.

Anyway, I agree that Fleur will be skinny (most likey TOO skinny for my tastes), most french people are naturally pretty thin, no? I've read that their lifestyle leads to them being long and thin. I think there is too much emphasis on weight in the media today....but I could see making a choice like that for this character. Maybe someone who looks like Nikki Hilton without the tan. (FYI: Nikki is Paris Hilton's younger sister..)

I know he's a guy, thanx. I know that alfonso cuaron is directing POA, and I think they've decided that mike newell is directing the GOF.

Why ask a question you know the answer to then?

Anyway, I wonder how Veela-like Fleur is going to look? She's like what..1/4 veela or something like that? I'm curious because there's those dancers at the World Cup...and I'm wondering how much she'll look like them.

Of course they will all be blond haired and blue eyed. OK that sounded like I have a problem with blondes, I don’t, don’t worry.
And you know, how are they going to get all those Bulgarian and French kids? Whatever, they can have fun with that stupid anti-anyone-who-isn't-British rule.

Ok, Squeaky, do you *not* get sarcasm? Stop trying to argue a case that you can't win. Even if you act all pessimistic, it's not like it's going to stop malfoyluva from sending her application form. Learn to live a little, damn.

By the way, nice icon malfoyluva!

sar·casm ( P ) Pronunciation Key (särkzm)
n.
A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.

pes·si·mism ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ps-mzm)
n.
A tendency to stress the negative or unfavorable or to take the gloomiest possible view: “We have seen too much defeatism, too much pessimism, too much of a negative approach” (Margo Jones).
The doctrine or belief that this is the worst of all possible worlds and that all things ultimately tend toward evil.
The doctrine or belief that the evil in the world outweighs the good.

I seriously don't care if she send in her application. Or RESUME as we call it in the business. She can do whatever she wants.

As far as your "case" or whatever, I'm not trying to "win". Plus it's difficult to respond to an incoherant statement like that. Trust me I understand sarcasm just fine.

You know who i think could play her? Keira Kightley. You know from bend it like Beckham, Pirates of the caribbean, and L ove actually. Shes a brit, AND drop dead gorgous!!!

I'm sorry, since you obviously need to look words up in the dictionary, I put a much easier piece of vocabulary (i.e. application), since most people on forums don't know what to call it. I guess I doubted you would. And, FYI, a resume is just a document that states all of your past experiance. So either way, you're wrong.

Dissed...
