British actors are notoriously well-trained. (if they've had training that is.) Many people think of Britian as the epicenter of the stage arts these days. If she was trained in the UK, she most likely will be able to. But now a days it seems anyone off the street can be a star overnight. Look at Ashton Kutcher, he was just some guy from Iowa..and now he's been in like 6 movies!
The Dell Guy took his money from that and enrolled himself int he Royal Shakespeare academy.
i know! i think it's horrible, that you can make it to a star so fast...
and i don't like the whole casting show idea as well....there are just too many and the ones who are chosen to win (and i doubt by the audience...-.-) have contracts which forbide them to say their opinion.... correct me if i accvuse here such a show unfairly... but i guess there's not so much behind it...

People, they have to hire a british (or someone from the UK) to play her, because they got to keep the consistency.
If they don't, it'll piss off a lot of non-british people and nobody, especially the Harry Potter Crew want that drama.
I'm sure they can find someone of French descent and just give her an accent coach.
WTF no way. I hate that biznach. I think they shoudl actualy regard all of the letters that pepole send them, because a lot of people who really could be the part are dependiing on the casting studios reading those letters. Whatever, they can chose some little UK girl with a fake French accent. Not that I'm trying out or anything, I'm just saying. I think they're being rather childish about it like "only people who live in the UK", because look at the past actors and actresses, you'd think nobody had any acting experiance at all. I mean, I'm sorry, but look at Daniel. Dude, that child may be hot, but he needs to get himself some acting lessons. I think he's better now, but in the first movie- oooh gurl. Sore to my eyes.
