yea but all those points sound like shes just being a one of Harrys Bestfriends.... and she is..her and ron...but Harry hasnt had scenes with Hermy like how Hermy and Ron has...like on the PoA movie where theyre both standing in the snow looking at the Shrieking Shack...and how Hermy asks Ron if he wants to move a bit closer..you can see how ron acts hesitating and all..LOL..i loved that scene....Harry has no feelings towards Hermy like that was so ever...he looks at Hermione as a sister and ron as a brother...he doesnt even show affection and reacts when Hermiones with Viktor....only Ron!!

A lot of those points you listed only prove Harry was trying to protect her from getting hurt. I know he protected her at the end of book five too, but they're friends. Who would just let his friend get hurt. If Harry likes Hermione, why did Ron get so mad when she liked Krum? Besides, as I've already told you, JKR denied that ship. Go to the couples section of mugglenet if you don't believe me.

Harry and Hermione's relationship isnt as intense as Hermione and Ron... so that just says Hermione and Harry will never have that *hint hint* kind of relationship 🙂

Besides, Harry will be too busy with Luna, it wasn't Hermione that made him feel a bit better about Sirius and mentioned that he was under the mistletoe. It wasn't Ginny either.

Some people may not think the movie does show how the book is going to turn out and just because it seems that the actors are friendly on set, that it doesn't mean a thing. That's not entirely true. For example, Steven Spielberg was originally going to direct the movie and had wanted Halie Joel Osmen to play Harry's part. But J.K. Rowling had said no, that she wanted a british actor to play Harry. So Steven Spielberg dropped out of making the movie and Columbus and Cuaron became the directors, which J.K. Rowling approved of. When they found Daniel she immediately said yes, and thus the movie making began. My point? J.K. Rowling had the last say on who the directors and actors were, I mean why wouldn't she? She wrote the whole series! Knowing this, J.K. Rowling can drop clues into the movies. Clues that she wouldn't be able portray in a book. A lot of people say they don't like how Daniel and Emma played Harry and Hermione because it made them seem too friendly. Maybe this was done on purpose. If J.K. Rowling wasn't going to set them up in the book, then why would she let the actors play out the characters as such? Everything is in her hands and she decides how it all turns out.

well of course she decides everything but when it comes down to it she isnt exactly directing the movie...and if she was telling the directors how 2 do their jobs wouldnt that sound a little odd 😬 ....Jo (JKR) has already probably sat down with who ever needs to hear what she has to say and told them how the story, background and actors/actresses should be seen as....maybe there are little hints about how the characters are acting that Jo wants us to figure out??? that may have something to do with the next series...who knows....all i know is that the relationships between the main characters are maturing and and intensifying between each other....especially ron and hermione....as for Harry...well if this was a love story Harry would not have much of a part 😬

Yes, JKR did have input into the movies. She said she was please with the moment at the end of CoS where Hermione hugged Harry and not Ron because it foreshadowed an R/Hr romance. She said Harry and Hermione are platonic, or non-sexual, friends. I did want an answer to my last question: what excuse have H/Hr shippers come up with for Ron's behavior at the Yule ball?

It's because he was jealous. When Ron couldn't get a girl to go with him, he asked Hermione. So when Hermione said that she already was going with someone else, he thinks that Hermone isn't telling the truth. But then he sees Krum, and realizes that she really HAD been asked. This causes him to be jealous. It's obvious that Ron has feelings for Hermione, but she just doesn't like him the way he likes her.

Okay, so why did Hermione hate it when Fleur kissed Ron at the end of the book, but not when she kissed Harry after the second task? Also, why did she never get jelous of Cho? Go to mugglenet, book six (under the books section), possible couples, quotes supporting Ron and Hermione. That should end these shipper wars.

Here's my theroy about the whole Yule Ball situation. Remember in OOTP when we found out about Ginny daiting Micheal C- something (corner) Ron started to hate him, saying how he knew he was no good. Funny enough thats the exact same way he reacted with Hermione and Krum! You think that if Ron liked Hermione he would act differently when she got a boyfriend, and not react the same way as he did with his sister. This is why I believe that in the books ron and hermione are more brother sister. I think ron and Luna are going to get together (in OOTP she was constantly singing 'weasly is our king'😉. Anyways, I ship H/Hr, I think they need eachother.

Weasley is our king is meant to make Ron feel bad. How does singing it show she has a crush on him? Ron, Hermione and Hagrid tried to make Harry feel better about Sirius, and Ginny probably did, too. Luna was the only one who could.

She sang it before Ron won the game and they changed the lyrics. Anyway, there's no evidence to support it. I've already told you JKR comfirmed R/Hr, so this is a stupid argument. She stares at Ron, but she stares at everyone. Calling him by his full name shows that she's more formal, and therefore less close to him.

But I know what you could be thinking of-- a lot of hand-holding scenes between Ron and Hermione were shot for the PoA movie, meaning JKR approved these scenes (only they didnt make the final cut-- to shorten the film).

Later on, JKR said that a lot of scenes in the PoA movie foreshadows book 6-- so, if JKR allowed all the said hand-holding scenes-- then she could very well be referring to the Ron-Hermione romance as one of the book 6 foreshadowings in the PoA movie!

i think harry and hermione belong together, because hermione was the one that believed harry in the goblet of fire. Ron will probably end up with luna because she really likes him. Draco will probably be with Ginny, it would kind of remind us of Romeo and Juliet. Familes hate each other but they fall in love. those are te Harry potter character that i think belong together.! 😄 😄

Padfootlover - Remember this is luna we're talking about, she's not all there, lol. I don't think she realized the negativenesss of "Weasly is our king", because she's just... ditzy. At least that's how I read it. When Luna, Harry, Hermione, and Rita seeker are in the three broomsticks in OOTP harry, hermione and rita are all discussing the report thing and it says somehting along the lines of luna plesently singing it.
