ok i have some ron/hermione proof from interviews w/ jk, chris columbus, and the trio, u can deny book proof but you can't deny it when it comes from the source it's gonna be Ron/Hermione:
1) interview w/ katie couric: Couric: “Any snogging with Hermione?”
Rowling: “Harry and Hermione! Do you think so?”
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3080035/
2)JK w/ the national press club, u can listen: "Harry and Hermione are very platonic [platonic means nonsexual] friends. But I won't answer for anyone else. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink."
http://www.npr.org/programs/npc/1999/991020.jkrowling.html
3) heres a barnes and nobles interview w/JK: Q: Is it just me, or was something going on between Ron and Hermione during the last half of Goblet of Fire?
A: "Yes, something's "going on," but Ron doesn't realize it yet. Typical boy." www.geocities.com/aberforths_goat/October_2000_Live_Chat_Barnes_Noble.htm&cls=wsi25&rid=c01
4)here's a chat w/ the trio: The Leaky Cauldron: Can you predict one thing you think will happen to each of your characters in the books?
Daniel Radcliffe: I think these two [points at Emma and Rupert, i.e. Hermione and Ron] are going to get together. That's my prediction.
WB Rep: Well Rupert, what do you say to that?
Rupert Grint: Yeah, that's what I was going to say as well. I was going to say hope they don't fall for each other. [said in very 'teenager, grossed out by love' way.]
TLC: But do you think they will?
RG: Yes.

5)here's Columbus on the H/Hr hug in COS🙁On being asked whether the handshake at the end of the CoS movie was foreshadowing events to come with Ron and Hermione)
"It is foreshadowing, yeah. I just love the idea that the two of them, that there's an impending crush. And it's such a real thing for kids at that age. For instance, I asked Emma to hug Dan, and she said, 'No way,' and that was the day she was the most nervous being on the set. She was like, 'I am not going to hug him, no I'm not.' And I said, 'You've been petrified, this is one of your best friends, if not your best friend, you have to hug him,' I said, 'but you won't hug Ron, because that's where the tension is

6)CC again:In Chamber of Secrets, the romance between Hermione and Ron begins to blossom — but just slightly.

ok n that's my proof, if nothing else then the 2nd one is definate proof that it's R/HR!!!

That's the movie. One bothering thing about the movie is that Dan and Emma have more chemistry, than Rupert and Emma (and it totally affects the audiences' approach on the characters).Uhhh... right... resources my a$s!
They're shipping the couples (Harry & Draco). They're not sick. They're shippers like everybody else posting in this thread. Uhh... Please don't be a such a homophobric a$swipe, or a close-minded clown. =)
I ship:
[b]Harry/Ginny

Ron/Hermoine
Sirius/Lupin
squeal sirius /lupin make a hot couple too
Harry/Draco
Ron/Mione
ginny/neville
seamus/dean

I'm sorry sailor_neriede, but I'm for the R/Hr-ship... you did try to prove those evidences wrong, but all your points were backed up by theories only.
You must be able to see that what Lady_Eowyn3 gave up there are "solid" evidences-- many of which are the words of JK Rowling herself-- from print and TV or audio interviews.
OK salior_neriede.. and all H/Hr-shippers for that matter... to settle this once and for all-- post a Harry/Hermione evidence that is not just a theory-- quotes from JK Rowling, most preferably-- AND DONT FORGET TO PUT LINKS TO THE SOURCES WHERE YOU GOT THEM.
Mind you that sources should be credible ones-- Lady_Eowyn3's sources are:
1. JKR interviews from:
- Katie Couric posted at MSNBC
- NPR.org
- Barnes & Nobles
2. Dan, Rupert and Emma interview posted at Leaky Cauldron
3. Chris Columbus interview, posted also at Leaky Cauldron
4. Time Magazine article on "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" movie
Otherwise you can just check out this link to Harry's reaction at your H/Hr-ship!
*laughs*OHH THE FUUNI-NESS...My question to you H/HR R/HR shippers.Who cares whos right? Why waste your time arguing? As long as you truly believe in your ship and love it,it dosen't matter if it happends or not.Hell theres so much evidance for both, its impossible to tell at this point......I just think you all take this to far and none of you can be completley sure your right.
Can't you just be happy with loving your ship as it is?
Oi! There's a NEW theory that all H/Hr-shippers will be very bothered about! Here it is--
Who is the HBP?
First of all, I am most likely entirely wrong, but this is my theory on who the Half Blood Prince will be.
With the exception of Sirius in the Prisoner of Azkaban, the title of each book has had no references to it in an other Harry Potter books preceding it. This leads me to believe that the Half Blood Prince will most likely turn out to be someone who has not yet been intorduced to Harry Potter world. But what if the HBP is someone who hasn't even been born yet? What if he is the future child of what I believe to be the inevitable couple of Ron and Hermione.
After going through the books yet again, I have noticed that the only references to any sort of royalty that I could find were pertaining to Ron. More obviously with the legendary song developed by Draco Malfoy and improved by all of Gryffindor (Weasley is our king), but more importantly, in one of Harry's dreams.
"Harry had a trouble night's sleep. His parents wove in and out of his dreams, never speaking; Mrs. Weasley sobbed over Kreacher's dead body watched by Ron and Hermione, who were wearing crowns, and yet again Harry found himself walking down a corridor ending in a locked door." - Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix chapter 10
This is highly significant because both Ron and Hermione are wearing the crowns, which suggests a future they share together as either literal or symbolic king and queen. If they were to have a child, then this boy would come to be known as a prince.
I know what many of you are thinking... The child wouldn't be half blood if a witch and a wizard were his parents. But that's not true. Harry Potter himself is a half blood, said so by Dumbledore, even though his parents were both magical. It seems that in the Potter world, a Muggle born mother and a pure blood father is enough to constitute the child as a half blood.
I know that Hermione and Ron would most likely not have a child during the Harry Potter series, but what if the child were to come from the future. We already know that time travel plays an intricate role in the HP series, and that it is even so important as to have an entire section devoted to it in the Department of Mysteries. It could very well happen that Half Blood Prince Weasley travels back in time to aid Harry in his sixth adventure at Hogwarts.
While I am very excited about having finally come up with my own theory, I am open to criticism. If anyone has anything to disprove or help prove this, feel free to write an editorial in response. I would be glad to hear what you have to say. Have a lovely day!

that really wouldnt make much sense. i mean, the future child? who knows if r/hr will get married in the future? ok, so if r/hr does end up 2gether in the series, it doesnt mean that they'll get married in the future. of course, we'll never know unless they r engaged at the end of it. and werent the pins ron and hermione received were shaped like a crown?
