The Official Shipping Debate Thread [merged]

All i was saying is that personally I dont' see a poing in shipping something that we're 99.9% sure isn't going to happen. I just don't get it, I try to base my ships on factual info from the books, but thats just me. I just don't get the "impossible" ships, such as Harry/ Draco. Maybe they'll become friends, but lovers? Negative.

Generally the "impossible"ships are the best and most fun.

These pics a great! I really dont uderstand why some people think Harry and Hermione are going to get together! Not that it matters, i mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but come on guys! Its written in the stars for them to! It has been since they first met! xx

Harry + Ginny (if they both get together you'll notice that they will look exactly like James and Lily Potter. Harry looks exactly like his dad and Ginny looks exactly like his mum (Lily Potter) with the red hair and green eyes. It will be like a reflection of them.

or is it's possible that Harry and Luna can get together?

Luna/seamus

Hermoine and Ron is the most likely to going to happen, cause JKR has dropped enough hints to come to that kind of conclusion.

But the real problem is, is gonna be Harry and Ginny or Harry and Luna?
First you have the similarity with Harry and Ginny to James and Lilly, like you said PotterGurl.
But in many interviews JKR has told that he likes Harry, but he likes also Luna very much, maybe she's tipping us toward that kinda ship?

I don't know, but I think it's highly possible that both ships are possible, although I'm more for Harry and Ginny, 'cause those two have got something together and I think that Ginny is the only one who can understand Harry really.

I just dont get the point of shipping people who we know arn't going to get together. but maybe i dont understand the whole concept of shipping! Whatever, Harry/Hermione for life!
