Tigress, sorry to disappoint you, but Harry is not gay, so that's not going to happen in accord to JKR.
She's been also relatively angry at all the girls who seem to fall for Draco, she calls it the Bad-Boy Syndrome 🙂.
So actually she tries to say that Draco is just bad and always will be and he ain't gonna get Ginny nor Hermoine and definitely not Harry. 😛
ppl shouldnt ship just because they have a chance 2 get 2gether. kinda dumb. u should ship them because of the certain qualities it has that differs from other ships.
example: i stopped being an h/hr shipper because it was ruined 4 me. but now i ship draco/hermione. i think that they have a lot of tension and hate but everyone likes a little love/hate. i know that it's not going 2 happen. and i dont care! i just think that there could be a lot of emotion there. that's why i like it.

Sarah, like JKR would say, you've got the bad case of the Bad-Boy-Syndrome. The reason she calls this is because, up until even now, Draco hasn't done anything nice to anybody and he's being a pain in the *ss since the beginning.But she does understand why you guys love him, its because the character is played by Tom Felton (who's a cutie according to all the girls, go figure 😛), but that ain't Malfoy. Malfoy is and always be an evil git. And the reason she's upset is because she has also had some bad relationships with that kinda guys and doesn't want anybody else go on the same path. O btw Sarah: although JKR tends to lend her inspiration of several other story's, I don' t think that she'll just copy that part of the Arthurian legend. She's way to smart for that kinda thing.
Another thing, you said you noticed something at the end of OotP between Harry and Luna, but then again you can say the same thing about Ginny, cause remember when Ginny and Ron speak to each other about Michael Corner and Ron says looking at Harry that he wasn't good enough for her and that there was probably a better man waiting for her.
I would say go think about the meaning after that and you'll be surprised about the amount of theories you think about for that two.

Hey Iceman, I totally agree with you about the shippers. And I don't think Draco (tom felton) is at all hot or cute or any of that sort of thing. The other girls may think I'm weird for that, but oh well. I think Ron/Hermione as well, and I too would like to see a Harry/Ginny shipper, but he and Luna have a lot in common, like the thestrals... I don;t know who Harry will end up with.

I also firmly believe that it will be Ginny who will help Harry out of the fit he's experiencing after the death of Sirius.

I've got my own King Arthur quote, Ginny's name comes from Guinevere, and her father's name is Arthur, so she's gonna fall for Arthur's best night aka Harry, there's more to it but i really don't feel like typing
