LOTR Soundtrack [merged]

I do have to say, I kinda preferred FOTR a little bit more than TTT. But the music is perfect for the movie. Howard Shore is wonderful!

I do have to say though, and I am not sure if many will agree. When I first heard Gollum's Song, I thought it was Bjork singing 😛

Bjork? I didn't think that because bjork tends to scream lol, but I can see where you are coming from though.

I was listening while my best friend was driving the car and I have a tendency to flick through songs... and when it came to that song, I asked her if it was Bjork (before looking at the cover) and I was surprised it wasn't.

Where did you got them. i play piano for more than 7 years and i was lookin for notes since fotr. i play lotr music with my piano but only by the ear. and i was looking for the whole score but i didnt found something!!!

about the pianosheets: Mostly online but some shops also sell them (not here in Austria or Germany, I think 🙁 ) - but it's very expensive for europe.

try www.8notes.com you can order from there, i got mine from my local music shop thats all, but I had to search deep into the books -not a ver organised shop- Im sure any music shop will order books for you, I have ttt and fotr, only one more to go lol I will be buried with thses books.

ive got the FOTR but not TTT - god, the variety of emotions,frm the grand, victorious (for sum reason i see legolas running oh-so-gracefully when i hear tt pt,the theme which u hear at the beginning of track 13,heh heh 😮 ) to the ones which sooo make me cry,the breakin of the fellowship n all......howard shore is i total virtuoso!!!!him n john williams TOP my list man!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite LotR songs are the one when Aragorn's in the river and he wakes up after he falls over the cliff and my other favorrite is the Gollum Song. I'm saving up to get the soundtracks from both movies, hopefully i'll be able to get them soon 🙂

I love all the soundtrack!...But there's one particular part that always gets me teary-eyed...When Theoden comes back w everyone from fighting w the Wargs, and Eowyn asks if Aragorn came w them....That angelical voice!...it kills me!

I love all Shire music or any hobbit music..I love the song at the end os the fellowship by Enya "may it be" and when there at helms deep and gandalf comes with the rohirrem(sp) I love that music too well lets just say I love all the music but I don't like orc and evil music lol 😂

I have the TTT CD and I keep thinking that Enya's May it be is on it.
Wrong CD!! Maybe buy FOTR soon. I love the sounds of the Shire/Fellowship (I know I keep saying that!)

I love the LotR music. I haven't really listened the TTT enough times to know it by heart, but I have with FotR. And RotK soundtrack comes out Nov. 25!!! I can't wait!!

I LOVE LOTR music!! I don't know like, names of pieces and things off by heart ((I do with SW Ep2 music)) but I love listening to it while watching the movies...it is VERY touching!!
I agree with bLooMiLiCioUs...John Williams and Howard Shore RULE!!
