Bring me the eyes of the oracle

As for Neo having/not having the Oracle's eyes, it is quite possible. The Oracle has the vision. She sees M. coming after her for this enhancement. She knows if he gets it, he will have even more power and be unstoppable. So, she gives it to Neo. To hide it. To safe guard it. To give the one person who can possibly defeat M., Smith, Archie, etc. more power and a better chance. Like any program, it might take time to activate. M. wouldn't know if she gave it away. And since it seems to be her biggest asset, wouldn't think that she would give it away.

exactly what i meant. mero isnt all knowing. even though mero has neo captive, he doesnt necessarily know neo has the eyes of the oracle now.

Ok guys, there are alot of 'metaphores' in this movie for other things....think.....keymaker using literal keys to unlock different things(acctually computer programs), the 'back doors' being litterally back doors and other things along those lines....maybe this means that the oracles 'eyes' are not in a sense a sign of her death, but, they are the program that lets her see into the 'future'

Yeah... I certainly don't think that Mero wants the actual eyeballs of the oracle. That'd be gross now that I think about it.... Yes I imagine it's something like what you're saying -- the part of her that can see into the future. I agree with Tshirt too. Right on. At least that's what I got out of it....

i dunno, Mero seems like the kind of guy thats ruthless and coniving, just such a guy who would want a person offed, and using his enemy to do it...anyway, i think that he wants her coding, what makes her tick, so he can have the power that she has...

and then smithy beats him to the punch

Hmmm... yeah he sure does.

i just thought of something last night, when i was looking at mythology and the like...Teriesias, the blind prophet, wasn't always a prophet. His eyes were taken from him by the gods i think, but he was given the "sight" by a god because he felt sorry, or something like that...Perhaps, by Mero saying that he wants the Oracles eyes, he means he wants o take from the Oracle that which inhibits her sight, so that she can see everything, the BIGGER picture, and she can see beyond all the decisions...Beyond the end...

But that would be... nice 😑 Which I must admit, seems out of character for Mero....

What do you think...

T-shirt has an INTERESTING point there. However what bugs me is, that the Oracles says to Neo that he ALREADY has the sight. Perhaps not to the degree that the Oracle does. She, as a program, may have it easier when she sees into the future and sees the execution of programs. That MAY be the red piece of candy. Who knows? Maybe Neo did eat it.

And maybe that’s the answer we’ve been looking for ALL along. How Neo stopped the sentinels. Sure, his mind touched the Source, and the anomaly code may’ve caused fluctuations in it. But with the SIGHT, too, he can SEE INSIDE the Source, and predict sentinel movement.
Just a thought.

Mero did not say anything about the eyes of the Oracle. I know a french accent when I hear one, it was dubbed. someone else said it.

If Neo has a piece of smith in him I think he would be able to feel sentinel movement. If you remember back to Matrix 1 after the helicopter scene, the agents say that the sentinels are in place and to order the strike. I think that agents have a direct feed with the sentinels, and, if they do, I imagine Neo would have it now too.

hmmm... Now that I think about it, that seems to make sense. And if he could be linked up to them then couldn't he give them the good ol' self destruct command? Well, maybe not a self destruct... but certainly with a link, and him being the One I could see how he could do some damage to them/stop them. Just a thought...

I can live with that theory.

simple> that may be a bit too complicated to explain to the simpletons in rev 😗

(not saying your wrong)

LOL ... too funny... 😆

Well, it seemed pretty simple to me. 😊

Simplepriest> This far it seems something from NEO overwrote a line in Smith or something was copied. NOT the other way around.
It does, in any case, not deal with those Oracle eyes! 🙂

An agent may be able to order sentinels about. But someone like the Architect may easily override that order, unless the ordering around of sentinels is done FROM the Source itself.
The Oracles old shell went there… Hm.

icansee> You're back on earth...welcome back!!

Omega> I dont think the Architect actually controls any aspect of the matrix, because he was watching Neo all his life, but didn't send agents to kill him, why?

Being an Agent means they are an Agent of somebody's. Now the system isn't a somebody, so it would then go to the person in charge of the system - The Architect. They are indeed his Agents but as we know, one of them has grown out of control due to Neo's inteference 🙂

so MR SPEAK is archie?

JediHDM> A program such as the Architect can easily multitask. And, there is no one saying the Architect watched Neo all his life. Perhaps the Archie simply pulled up recordings of data of pod-human-digital self 15646-AGJ-8 aka Neo?
The scene from M1 where we zoom INTO Neo through the Architects screens may just be the Archie watching THAT particular moment, agents bringing in a person who’s looking for Morpheus.
Neo wasn’t born as The One. He chose to become the One and embrace the anomaly.

Sifer> Exactly. Even though the agents are referred to as "Agents of the System" (as from some conspiracy theory), the system is in this case sentient entities (or an entity).

Burlyman> The face doesn't exactly match. And damn if I can find the thread discussing the face of the Speak-machine. But who says the faces HAVE to match?? 🙂

Whar if they are just "agents of the system" autonomous of guidance, just...there
