i have seen SO many trailers for ff2:ac and it looks HOT! the graphics are hot, cloud is hot, and i can't wait!! what i've learned from looking up everything is that it's in dvd format only and that it will be released a couple months after the japanese release. which is in Summer 2004.

My Ideas about the movie.
Apparently Aeris (Aerith) is probably coming back.
My guess is the guy under the white sheets is Sephiroth, it may be due to his powers breaking down, kind of like the half-life of chemicals, where once they get so strong, they start to weaken to an unusable state.
My other guess is that the silver haired people might be some of the creations inside of the reactors? Remember looking inside of the reactor w/Jenova? They might have come from there. They may be tracking down Cloud for retribution for killing Jenova. Seph may have tied himself into the lifeflow to rescucitate himself.
Honestly I don't know any of this information, but that's what I'm thinking.
By the way, the previous posts have an argument about wether the city shown is Juno or Midgar. It is definitely Midgar because a piece of the upper plate is still up there, and you can see it, plus Cloud is walking through the only church in the game, which was in Midgar.

It was originally feared that the DVD would only see a release in Japan, however Square-Enix have pencilled in July 10th 2004 as a specific release date.

It's not July 10th, that was the original date for Japan, however it's been bumped to later in the summer/into the fall, and April 2005 for America 🙁
