"Answer the damn question!" he says.

"Would you believe us if we preformed an act that was concieved as myth?"

*turns to Sky*
"cool it, we dont want to make our situation worse, innot sure how it could be worse but im sure it could"

He sighs, and his frog eyes blink.

"Where you come from they do not encourage clear speech. NOW what are you talking about?"

"The reason you have not heard of the Republic, friend, is that you are a very very long ways away from it. Your planet is in a place where the stars are thinning, but where we live, the stars are plentiful. I am Xeth Tam, a Jedi Knight of the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order. I hail from Geonosis, but that is a planet that is outside of the Republic. Planets inside are such as Damagran...Malastare...Dantooine..." Xeth says, naming a few and giving him a few coordinates to said planets. "There are many. The Republic is a democracy, and Senators from every planet have a say in the government. Sometimes it doesn't work, but most of the time, it is the only way to resolve things!"

"I think my friend Roan here is trying to say...hmm..." Xeth thinks for a moment. "What is something that a God from your mythology could do? A strange power that he could perform, such as telepathic powers? Or telekinetics? Mind reading? Anything?"

To the first, he replies:

"As if I needed any proof, now I KNOW you are lying! Any idiot knows no life can exist deeper in the Galaxy due to the radiation belts! You should have tried a smaller lie, 'friend'."

To the second:

"The Old Gods created universes, nonsense like that. If you mean the Jedi you purport to be... such tales are ridiculous nonsense. Subversive nonsense at that."

"You know nothing if you think I lie. Radiation belts? It is more likely that someone has lied to YOU. Anyway, let me hear these...ridiculous tales!"

Kellan closed her eyes, crossed her arms and silently used a gentle push of the Force to lift the man a dozen centimeters off the floor.

"Not so ridiculous, are they?" Xeth asks, watching Master Gundark use the Force to lift him.

Gundark, you attempt your gentle lift.

Which, with an outstretched arm, he counters.

"Hey!" he says. "Cut that out! Where the hell did you learn to do that anyway?"

Xeth blinks.

"From...our mentors...fellow Jedi...how did you learn to counter?"

"Well, THAT was hardly ridiculous, was it? It WAS very rude, however. I think you people are having difficulty grasping your situation! Such a thing is assault and I am not a person you want to piss off!"

"What do you mean, learn?" he asks. "And what do you mean... mentors... I..." He produces a lightsabre.

"Tell me how this weapon works," he asks. "The principles it works on."

Kellan found it nearly impossible to believe the man's words but she spoke to him with patience.

"What my companions have told you sir, is true, all of it. I am Jedi Master Kellan Gundark and represent the Jedi Order on a mission to apprehend a criminal," she began. No point into going into detail on that yet... "The lightsabre is the Jedi weapon of defense. Never attack, which is why we did not engage your group on the surface. The lightsabre is constructed of several components, controls, power cells, reflector cup, but most importantly a focusing jewel that defines the width, length and depth of the blade of energy the sabre produces. These weapons are built by young Jedi learners known as Padawans as part of their training. After years of apprenticeship and tutelage under a Master, such as myself, Padawans then must past a serials of trials, the details of which I'm not going to waste time going into now. At that point, if the trials are passed, the Padawan is granted the status of Knight. Not all Knights become Masters and not all Padawans become Knights. But I assure you, we are not a myth, despite what must have been taught to you and your people."

"We were born with the gift of using the Force, but we were taught how to use it by Masters such as Gundark..." Xeth gestures. "Though I did not learn from her originally. Even though my training is considered complete, I am still learning from her."

"And lightsabers are made at the start of a Jedi's training, as their weapon of choice." He begins explaining how a lightsaber is constructed.

"All lightsabers are constructed primary the same as far as the basics. Lightsabers have a main power core, crystals for focusing, and a central processing unit. Don't let the short list of parts fool you. A seasoned Jedi can take up to a month to construct a lightsaber. However in an emergency, a lightsaber can be constructed in a few days..."

"A Lightsabre is a useless weapon in defence," he says.

Xeth- AH! You've got it! What those weapons are! You thought they were similar to yours, but with no sonic parts... they are kinetic energy weapons! Your people worked for decades on those without success, you used sonics instead.

They simply transfer large amount of kinetic energy to the target- being shot by one would be like being smashed over the head with a crowbar- pretty lethal.

Not QUITE as lethal as a laser bolt- but with one VERY big difference. A Lightsabre wouldn't do a damn thing to stop it. Hell- you are glad you didn't try to fight, that would have been a shock! Thise are very sophisticated weapons- but the fact that Lightsabres are no good against them would be the only reason to use them... curious!

"Now, listen..." says the being. "How..."

But he is interrupted. The outer doors fly open, and the guards return, with more guard, accompanied by anotrher important looking frog being. Only this one looks older, paler and more wrinkly.

There is an argument in their language. A heated one. Your captor points to you several times- but the older one is not impressed. And then the captor looms unhappy- and the guards move around behind him, and strip him of his sabre. He is led away.

The older frog turns to you.

"You will oblige me by not spreading any more poison in the minds of my Council Members," he says, sternly.

"Poison? What do you mean by that?" Xeth asks. "Also, I should like to know the name of your planet and your people, lest I refer to you as a frog. It would be like calling me a bug. And Council Members? Is that what your lightsaber denotes of your position in office? And where did you get it? And how did you counter Master Gundark's lifting? I have too many questions, and I'm not receiving the answers!"

Well, it wasn't him that countered it...

"I mean poison," he says, "as in it is lethal and you have filled him with it. This is the planet Zeiton and my people are simply the Zeitonians. It should be patently obvious how any lift of yours was cancelled. And your other questions do not interest me. I am not here to enlighten you or bandy words. I am simply here to see you for myself, to make sure, and it seems that it is so."

"Easy, Xeth," Kellan countered in a calm voice. "With all due respect, you are of a higher authority than the one you just dismissed ? Perhaps you would grant me a few moments of your council's time, that we may straighten these misconceptions you have of us," she asked in her most diplomatic tone.

"I am afraid that will not be possible," he says. "You will not have time. Your trial will be this evening. Your execution will follow at dawn."

"The only way you could have canceled it is that you can use the Force as we do," Xeth says, frowning at being dismissed by the obviously more important Zeitonian.
