Kellan had expected the droid's reply. "I don't think its going to be marked with an 'X'," she pointed out dryly. "Try the in-depth scan, Xeth. My best guess is we're looking for a hollow area underground, a cavernous area, something like that." She started to feel that creeping sensation on the back of her neck again and involuntarily shivered.
I shall focus my effort underground
Gundark... you are still struck with the terrible feeling of dread you have had since you left Nar Shadda... it... is that...
Something terrible is going to happen
It's the SAME feeling! Gundark, despite everything, the terrible thing that is going to happen- it has not happened yet! And it is worse than everything that has come before!
My scans are revealing nothing out of the ordinary. But a close analysis of the co-ordinates provided by you shows an anomaly between the surface features and what I detect undeground. Formations that should be there are not. My conclusion is that my scans are being rendered inaccurate at this location by some means
"Thank you, U9. I think that basically gives us what we are looking for. I suppose if Demnos didn't want to be found, he'd set up scramblers to distort sensors and such. Can you give me the coordinates within a mile of there? Or closer, if you can. In fact, I want the exact coordinates. If the Dark Jedi are outside, I'll launch some torpedoes..."
Xeth turns on the intercom. "Alright, everyone, I think we've found what we are looking for. What does everyone think of an air raid on the Mausoleum?"
(Thank you, evil gamemaster....)
Kellan studied the direction the valley took into the mountains. "I think we are nearly at the end of our journey," she said, almost to herself. "That cleft in the mountainside must lead to our destination. I'm sure there's some type of defense system so keep your eyes and ears open."
