The shp door opens and you step out onto the surface. The first thing you notice is the pitch of the high wind- it howls continuously. The small 'sandstorm' continues to blow around all over. I hope you are wearing heavy clothing, else it will hurt soon, and Saar is right- without filter masks this is going to make you cough like anything. You cannot see very far either. The sky is dark- obscured somehow. And it is cold, far colder than you thought it would be.

Galder, you spit out a mouthful. Actually... 'sandstorm' isn't so far from the truth. This isn't dust, it is grit! Grit and eart anfd ground, being blown around all over.

"Nice place for a holiday," says Jolanta. Kuylen strolls ahead of the rest of you.

"Last chance," he says. "Does everyone have what they need?"

"YES, Kuylen..." says Jolanta, wearily.

"i guess so" says Takuan. "this coldness...." he mutters...

It shouldn't be this cold, Takuan. You know little about astronomy but the world is not that far from its sun.

Galder runs in and grabs the filter masks, tossing them to everyone after strapping on his own.

"Alright, let's go, I'm set."

"why is it this cold?" he asks Kuylen

Kuylen doesn't seem to be listening. He is standing on a small rise in the hard earth ahead of you. His braids are blowing in the high wind and he is wearing his full military uniform- for a few moments, he looks very noble, almost like a Jedi again.

"It's all this," yells Saar at you Takuan- the wind makes it hard to hear anyone not yelling. He is gesturing at the whilring grit around you. "It permeates into the atmosphere as well. It is blocking the sun. It's over the whole planet."

"Right," says Kuylen, as if decding something. He pulls a small remote out of his jacket and presses the button.

The explosion starts at the rear of the ship. It spreads forwards a little bit of a time, creeping across it like the flow of a river, tearing apart everything in its wake. Soon enough, the explosions reach the head of the ship, and that shatters as well.

Debris scatters around you. Kuylen turns to face you all.

"Now there is no turning back," he says.

"so it seems...what about leaving the planet afterwards?"

"This is not a time to focus on afterwards," says Kuylen. "To take the power of the Mausoleum will take all of our focus and abilities in the present.

"Now, search. We are looking from some sort of underground entrance. Probably small and well-built."

"Um...I guess we're not leaving then...good thing I grabbed everything..." Galder says with a gulp. He trudges out into the desert.

"Um...Kuylen? Where do we start searching?"

"Anywhere" he says, simply.

"I...uh...guess I'll start...over there..." Galder says, pointing in the direction of North. "I'll...uh...head that way..." Galder says. "Keep your com's open."

Galder trudges off into the desert, constantly searching through the dust, seeing the world through a pair of protective goggles.

Wraith says nothing, following Galder out into the desert.

"So, how did you meet Kuylen, Galder?"

"Back then I was a mercenary, and Kuylen found me and hired me as a bodyguard. He was attacked, and I was forced to bring out the sabers and display my talents. Nearly cornered, he came to the rescue, killing every single gang member that had come after us. Then I joined him. How'd you join, Wraith?"

"Well, sort of the same thing. Sometimes I wondered if Kuylen was interested more in my money rather than my talents, but I found out the latter was true. I'm independantly wealthy, all of it stolen from my dead father. I'll let you guess who killed him..."

"I only have money from when I was a mercenary. Spent a large sum of it on a speeder on Damagran, chasing down Krisha and the Jedi Yerssot. I doubt Yerssot is following us here with the other Jedi, but Krisha is long dead. Quam, one of Kuylen's followers that split awhile back, killed the traitorous *****." Galder continues looking around as he walks.

"So, did you know your father?"

"More Jedi is just what we need...not a problem when we become Sith eh?" Wraith says, nudging Galder.

"As for my father, I wish I had never met him. He had been married 6 times before I put an end to him, me being born from the 3rd. I was an accident, if you get the point. All he wanted was money and sex. But, because he now had me to care for, he stuck me into the life of a gladiator. That's where I've learned my survival skills and such, other than Kuylen's teachings."
