USH'S GAME EPISODE V- 'MAUSOLEUM'- DARK SIDE AREA

"What?" Galder says, equally alarmed. "Kuylen, I thought this place would be absolutely deserted! Do you think the Jedi are already here? Or that somebody has already found the Mausoleum?" Galder says.

"Saar said there aren't any life forms," Wraith says, rolling his eyes at Galder. "But, the fact that people have been traveling here regularly is indeed disturbing..." Wraith looks over at Kuylen.

"Something we should know about?"

"Well, I said no sign of life," says Saar. "These scanners are not particularly acute. But there are no structures, no civilisation. Nothing."

"Of course people come here," says Kuylen. "The Sith did, why not others? Except that there is not much to see. A barren rock. It is GOOD we have found these things. Space travel, power signatures. This is not just another barren world amongst countless billions. There IS something here.

"Oh... the world is called Zeiton," finishes Kuylen.

Galder looks at Kuylen bewildered. "Did you already know the Mausoleum was here or something? How do you know it is called Zeiton?"

"Well, somewhat the point of getting the co-ordinates was to know it was here, and this fits what I know. You forget, Galder, I am a historian. I worked ten years in the Jedi Archives and my life since finding out what they could not tell me.."

"Oh...right," Galder says, less worried. "So those hyperspace trails and power signatures are from Sith hundreds to thousands of years ago?"

"Oh no," says Kuylen. "They are most likely recent. Saar- set us down one kilometre away from the largest power source."

"Hmm...strange..." Galder thinks. "Well, put her down quickly...I want to get to that Mausoleum quickly..."

"Patience, Galder," says Kuylen. "There is much work to do..."

The ship begins its descent through the atmosphere.

"Patience isn't one of my virtues, Kuylen. I see it as we land, we go into the Mausoleum, find out how it works, get the knowledge of the Sith, walk out, conquer people, and own the Republic. Might be some steps in between, but you get the idea."

"We have to FIND the Mausoluem, Galder. The Sith didn't signpost."

"I knew that, really I did!" Galder says. "But it shouldn't be too hard, right? I mean, we could probably sense the Dark-Side energy coming from it. And the Force might guide us."

Kuylen raises an eyebrow.

"Something you should all be aware of," he says. "The Force will NOT guide us to the Mausoleum. Not for anyone."

"And you know this because...?"

"Anything who knows anything of the Sith knows that the most lethal defences of their headquarters was that they could not be sensed in the Force. Why do you think the Jedi never found this place? You think they didn't try?"

"I knew that too!" Galder says. "But I...uh...forgot..."

I hate having a historian for a leader, but I'll let it slide cause he can open a can of wup ass on anyone...

(why..he's just good at everything...that's pretty much fit for a leader)
"where do we start?" asks Takuan

Dexx speaks truthfully... we could not realisitically make Kuylen a Master (though when GL created Dooku it kind of buggered up my 'Masters don't fall' theory- even so, it would be ridiculous to lose two Masters on a Sith-based thing at almost exactly the same time, doubly so both ones with a noble background, triply so both ones with an archaic fencing-based swordfighting style... what can I say? my brother created Kuylen first!) so we had to make him pretty damn good.

"Something on this planet will tell us where the Mausoleum is. But one thing at a time."

Your ships sets down on the surface. From what you can see, it is not very nice out. You seem to have landed in a vast, wide valley. Everything outside is very brown. And Saar's warnings of 'dust' don;t seem to do the outside justice- looks more like a mild sandstorm to you! There are tiny bits being blown around everything, making it hard to see far outside the ship.

"Get everything you need," says Kuylen. "As I warned you before, we may not have time to come back here to get something we have forgotten. We are going out there in five minutes."

"I've got everything," Galder says, motioning to the guns covering his body and the few bacta tanks he added.

(Suppose you're waiting for others to say "I'm Ready!" right?)
