Rah turns to his troops "Learn the lesson from Captains Galder and Wraith! See how they appear to so easily lose control when they are supposed to be just demonstrating to their troops" He indicates the duel taking place "I tell you now, each is a highly skilled warrior and to fight with such earnest will strike fear into your enemy. If you can fight like this without losing control then your enemies will fall! You must learn to be like them" Turning back to his troops "Now go and practise against one another, goad each other and really mean it, give in to the hate from the curses you hear. Fight but dont kill! That pleasure will come later..." Rah turns away to watch the duel with amusment.
Takuan gathers his zeitonians to him, wathing the conflict between his fellows.
"this is ridiculous" mutters Takuan to them
"you can learn a lot from this, my minions. Don't be fouled and distracted by anything that comes in your way. You wil wear out too quickly if you agitate and stray outside your goal. The dark side is much more than mere challenges and insults. The ones that plan their actions carefully, and act cautiously have a greater shot of achieving what they want. By THAT you reach true power."
(is it me or am i the only one sharing saar's opinions? 🙂 )
Heh... I always suspected Takuan would like Saar...
Keep it up, gyus, this is all important stuff for me. Your training regimen will have GREAT influences on gameplay to come. For maybe the first time you are engaged in the exercise of responsbility rather than just personal gain- in a sense, you are graduating to Big School. If you want to achieve, you have to be more than just bullys with lightsabres.
(The Lieutenants have returned, btw)
"I understand..." says your Lieutenant, Takuan. "You certainly sound more like the Sith Lord of Legend than these people do."
And talking of Saar, Takuan- he is in the shadows, beckoning for you to go speak to him.
Ter'Minaw is offering rewards to those of your men that correctly guess the outcome of the dcontest of wills between Wraith and Galder. And the Lieutenants of Wraith and Galder are simply looking on- hopefully.
Whilst meditating Rah comes up with another training plan and a way to test the loyalty of his troops.
"TerMinaw!" Rah calls "So far you have been an exemplery student and lieutenant." Looking Ter in the eyes Rah continues "To show my appreciation I wish to give you my mark, not only will it prove to me your loyalty but will also test your ability endure pain and will allow you to come through the other side much stronger!" Rah draws his sabre "Now focus on the pain, feel the power you can draw from it and hold perfectly still, if you move or cry out, you die!" He then carefully etches an intricate mark on Ter'Minaw's left upper arm. "Now go and bring me the finest most worthy of my troops..."
