Ter'Minaw- who took it well- happily does just that!
Saar takes you to a small, shadowy cave away from the main area you are staying in, Takuan. There he has his Lieutenant.
"This is the one, Cho'keron," says Saar. Cho'keron nods at you.
"Cho'keron here seems disappointed by the... shall we say, 'depth' of some of our fellow Kuylen followers? Lieutenants and Captains alike, especially the moron brigade [Saar's nickname for the Galder/Chion wing] of course. I told him you were different.
"Now. What do you make of things so far?" he asks.
I'll just go make that duelling thread...
Takuan pulls Saar a little bit farther, away from his lieutenant.
"i don't think he needs to hear this" he says "he have to be very careful not to lose them (the zeitonians). they can tip the situation for or against us just like that, and i think our barrier with them is thin. they still know eachother more than they know us....and fights like that between us, means they are somehow sepparating eachother. That's an avoidable pressure on them.
This elder of theirs, i think he has a great deal of answers. But we're probably going to have to deal with him in a special way also. He might be powerful, also."
(oh, and....how many members did you say their council has?or saber weilders, whatever..
it wouldn't happen to be 'a dozen' would it?)
No, two dozen. 24 members plus the Elder. But you do indeed now have a tangible link as to who those could be- you are planning a war against them, after all, and you doubt you will subvert the entire Council. It is coming together...
"Discipline has always been their problem," says Saar. "I worry that Kuylen may become too distracted to enforce it. Even worse, what can he do if, say, Galder proves disobedient? Would he kill him, now, of all times, when we needs everything we have? We must be ready for such problems.
"Has anything else of what you saw or heard come true?"
"well...besides this place" says Takuan reffering to this underground city "nothing has yet come true. But i belive this: we won't be able to convert the whole council. i think we'll be against half of them. Technically it shouldn't be a problem.....but that elder....i don't know.
Let us hope Kuylen will act accordingly in any situation. He is a fit leader"
Rah approaches Kuylen with an idea for causing chaos within the city "Master. If all these Zietonians are force sensitive could we possibly group together, use the force to create ill will and bad feeling within the minds of the citizens? Thus when we make our attack there will already be alot of confusion about for us to use to our advantage"
(Ah, when I say Force sensitive, Baylin, I don;t mean susceptible; I mean that they have the power of the Force. Therefore making it very difficult to affect them with it!)
"I will probably engage in a simpler solution," says Kuylen. "The rumours of our presence are already causing disquiet as it is confirming what all these people, by instinct, KNOW on a deep level- that they have been lied to and denied all their lives."
Hey, some of us are not at our cognitive best as far as systems are concerned at 3am+, Rexy! You'll often find Duel and Matrix updates are rare at thosr times even if I am up...
Yup, that would work, Rah.
"Don't chose them at random though," says Kuylen. "If they think we arbitrarily kill for no reason they will lose faith in our power to lead. What I will need you to do is identify a solid group of people who are against us."
