USH'S GAME EPISODE V- 'MAUSOLEUM'- DARK SIDE AREA

"Soldiers, take cover! Fire from windows!" Galder orders. He ignites his red lightsaber, jumps up, kicks off a wall, and lands behind an opposing Zeitonian. He spins and his blade slices through the spinal cord and into the face of a Zeitonian behind him. Then he cartwheels to the side, lands on his feet, and crashes through a window. He stays low as he readies his repeater and a grenade. He tosses the grenade out behind him.

These people are fast and nasty, Galder. They may not all have the powers but they all have the instincts of a Jedi! And you keep trying to defend yourself with your sabres, forgetting that is pointless.

This is going to be tough...

Galder keeps his red lightsaber in his arm compartment. He leaps up and fires a few rapid shots from his arm blaster, then fires his repeater. He then gets down again, and throws another grenade.

(Any specific targets I should be hitting?)

You'll note you are getting less specific guidance this game! I am encouraging independant thought, so see what you can think of.

Wraith waits for the lifts to go down, himself on one with Jolanta and Chion while their soldiers take the rest.

"This is going to be quite a thrill, isn't it Jolanta?" Wraith says, sliding on his helm. "Quite a thrill indeed..." He checks his blaster and lightsabers, and then stands ready, waiting for the lift to stop.

(Good! I like it, Ush!)

Galder sits for a moment after two blasts pass overhead, hoping to lull the armed forces into thinking that they got him. Suddenly he charges out, both lightsabers activated, and leaps up and over a row of Zeitonians. He starts cutting them down before they can turn to face him.

Then he sprints out of the way and leaps into a second story window. If anyone is inside, he holds them at gunpoint and orders them to leave the building. He rests for a moment, then takes out his repeater, firing from the window, picking off the Zeitonians nearest his soldiers.

"This is it! Your time to prove worthiness has come kill all those who would stop us!" Rah shouts to his followers as he takes cover. From the cover he fires off a few shots with his blaster taking out a couple of the frogs at the front.

Using the force to guide him he dashes in and out of cover, his sabre a blur, as he works his way towards the throng of opposing soldiers. When close enough he lets loose a terrifying noise/song, and then using the emotions of his song to drive fear into the soldiers, starts to cut them down. Like nothing they have ever seen before Rah is like a wailing demon moving constantly, left, right, never in one place long enough for their weapons to hit home.

Takuan ignites his saber, anyway.
He pushes the nearest riot stoppers, if they're too close.

"Take them out" he says to his men.

Kuylen head off to smash up the nearest police station. Unsurprisingly, Takuan, Saar decides to take a back seat approach to things, directing his troops from behind the lines having made an elementary study of the Zeitonian language in his time here.

Your forces move in on the police. Galder's move is good, and Rah is most CERTAINLY fast. More of them fall than you... but their numbers are replaced. Soon, a hundred more poilicemen are coming your way!

"A pittance," Kuylen tells you by communicator. "Destroy the contemptible rabble; the real fight starts when the Elder sends in the army. I shall be with you soon with fresh weapons."

Wraith- you sense the hostilke beings waiting for you, and your sabres are ready. Chion ignites his HUGE claymore like sabre, and he starts to whirl it around his head... as the lift doors open.

A dozen armed people are waiting for you, guns levelled...

Seeiing, them, TAkuan tries to pull the wewapons out of their hands or pull them down completely, while slowly backing away a bit behind some of his troops.....for cover 😖hifty:

From a hundred people? There are limits to you, Takuan... unless you mean the dozen, but those are for Wraith, not you.

oh...then

"start clearing them" yells Takuan to his men pointing to the hundred men.
"you lot" he says pointing to about 10 of his men "cover me." he gets them to suround him and goes to start chopping a few of the enemies

Galder continues firing from the window.

"Leiutenant Gar'Veran, are you there?" he shouts into his comlink, above the din. "Take a small squad of men behind the opposing forces, riddle them with firepower from behind."

Wraith pulls out his blaster and leaps up, kicking off the wall (like Neo in the subway fight), firing his blaster rapidly as he flips over to the right.

Galder throws a grenade out of the window again. Then he starts gunning down policemen nearest his men again.

(Trying to think of some stylish thing to do right now...) 😄

Takuan, I am a little unclear on your tactic. Ten men form a shield arounds you- fine. But how do you get to chop things?

Wraith, you blast down two quite quickly, but you lose some of your men in the confined close range bursts of fire- though the others will follow down soon (not enough to stuff in one lift).

Chion advances forwards into the melee...

Galder you are... whoa!, that was a close one... you are attractig a lot of fire here...

(your grenade explodes...)

Galder retreats from the window, and climbs the stairs down to the first story. He charges out the door, pistols blazing at the Zeitonians. He performs a triple jump kick and hits a Zeitonian in the jaw, then using him as a human shield as he retreats into a building. Then he slits the Zeitonian's throat with his concealed knife and rushes through the building to head to the next two streets over, planning to meet up with Leiutenant Gar'Veran and lead him and a few of the soldiers behind the riot control squad to kill them off from behind.

"Leiutenant Gar'Veran, meet me at Haia Street and Valar Avenue, with 20 men. We'll quickly attack from behind, corner our opponents between our forces."

Wraith does a Capoeira kick at the nearest guard, sending him into the gun fire of his men. Wraith fires two shots point blank at another, the bolts going through and hitting the one behind him.

"Resistance is useless, surrender!" he orders, holding the remains at gunpoint.

(Ush what sort of structure are the buildings around us. I'm thinking along the lines of if we could blow one up along side the police would it be sufficient to get either the building to fall on them or big chunks of masonry to come flying off at them?)

Getting behind some cover Rah has a short breather and takes stock of the fight. "Galder, do you copy?" Rah says into his com link "I've an idea. Try throwing a couple of grenades at the buildings to the side of those police, if we can topple a building the falling masonry ought to do some real damage to them. Also if your coming in behind them I'll press forwards and the we can squish them between us!"
