Bing! There they are! Or maybe not...

"Difficult to know entirely what to do," says Saar. "It was not built to ever be disconnected. I have isolated some controls, but they are just the ones that seal off this area. Obviously enough this particular part of the base was designed to be hard to capture."

*Galder fires at hallucination* 😄

ok..it might be of use to me to actually know what the vengeance device does...i didn't read when you explained....can someone sum it up for me? 🙂

It is a large chunk of baridium, of which there is a microscopic piece inside a thermal detonator. A chunk this size is enough to put a hole in the planet, as well as wipe out the biosphere, ensuring that nothing can live on the planet above or below ground.

and how do you detonate it...i assume it acts as a trap

"No, it's a weapon," says Saar. "The Sith Lords would use such things to dteer OTHER Sith Lords from direct assault. It's a rather extreme form of self-destruct- come my way and NOTHING survives."

(For anyone who hasnt noticed I've changed my name from Baylin to Pingu!)

Rah continues to look around the tunnels looking for any hidden rooms and such like.

(Pingu? 😂 Right...)

(pingu..heh)

(yes, okay..but how are planning on using it..)

(Its a cunning plan those pesky Jedi will never suspect a.... penguin....)

You aren't planning on using it, Takuan. You arer planning on making sure the damn thing is turned off!

You find very little, Rah. You suspect that this area of the Mausoleum is rather mundane.

Must be said, Galder, this is possibly the most defensible position you have ever seen. You have not the slightest idea how you would attack it in a frontal assault. If all Sith bases were built like this, how did the Jedi ever take them?

Galder ponders it for awhile, staring up and the highly defended base and up at the sand. "The Sith designed it, but maybe they also designed a way to penetrate it as well. The Sith did fight amongst themselves a lot. The Jedi took advantage of that..." Galder continues pondering while looking up at the sky.

After looking around and not finding anything Rah finds a corner to meditate whilst Kuylen sets up his ceramony.
Sitting in front of a wall Rah uses the force to gently push against it. When the effort starts to push him away from the wall he stops and then pushes harder, and keeps repeating this. His aim is to help his physical senses to adapt where his force senses are currently blocked.

Saar looks up from his work when there is a small beeping noise from the main control level below. He heads down to take a look...

"what is it.."

"Proximity alarm," says Saar.

"damn..jedi so soon?"

"Hard to tell," says Saar, heading down, "I don't know how any of this stuff works..."

'well who else can it be...we'd best prepare. We can use this 'not feeling' thing, to prepare a ...classical ambush, somewhere. "

Saar taps away at the controls, which consist of small buttons with obscure hieroglyphs.

"A sensor out on the mountainside, I think," he says.
